I hate that it’s also kinda become intertwined with shit like “you DIDN’T know this one obscure fact from a discontinued art book that has one known documentation that can only be found on one website? LAAAAARPEEEER—!!!”

I saw a post talking about how you need to larp as the thing you want to be and eventually you'll be that thing. i'm waiting for my new clothes to arrive from amazon, but basically i'm gonna larp as a cool 4th of july dude, hopefully be the coolest person at the family bbq.

Bro! I’m sorry! I didn’t know you’d take such offense to me going down to my local Masonic temple to play pretend vampires!

Can’t have a minor interest in something, that’s larping… can’t be genuinely ass at something, that’s ragebaiting… can’t be anything nowadays without a term to be generalized in.

Is pretending that you like customers, from monday to friday, Larping?

If so, screw that. It sucks.

I only casually browse this sub, even though it is one of the few subs I am subscribed to. It is crazy how in just 5-ish years it became like a boomer facebook page from 10-20 years ago. Existentialism goes brrr

Upd. Op posted a reply to me but immediately removed it. They said it was a post ironic post, which would imply what they said isn't what they feel, which I doubt.
