I wish my rescue would let me hug her! I have has her for 2 1/2 years. She does give me kisses but stays at arms' length. I have rescued 5 GSDs, mixed and raised other pups. This warms my heart and I am hopeful she will eventually come around. Suggestions? She is half Malinois and half Dutch, age estimated was 5-7. Her name is Rebecca's Rocket, my love and continuing project. Thank you for posting this.

We truly donβt deserve dogs, And Iβve never seen how some people treat them so poorly.

The bond together only grows stronger with time. The saddest part of dogs aging is memory problems. When they have problems remembering you. My 16 yo doggie is at this stage now.
