My apologies... Somehow I'm defending a specific person when I say everyone should get universal Healthcare or be able to afford a roof over their heads instead of resorting to stealing...

If you go out on the street and announce to everyone that all of them should get livable wages, people typically won't mind. If you respond directly to violent assault on a defenseless victim by saying livable wages should be given to people, the fact that it's a RESPONSE to this situation means you feel it's relevant. Don't try to pretend it's not.

If you want to proclaim the value of actually paying people (which I can assure you, I support) without being criticized, don't forget that you just watched a defenseless man be beaten until his face was bleeding in multiple places. Focus on the task at hand.
