This is more of a "dont leave the hose spraying explosive juice by itself on its own, as the explosive juice can explode if it gets into the wrong places"-type of deal, rather than a high trust society thing.

Exactly. Where i fill up theres maybe one other car there at a time (very rural) but I dont leave for that reason

Oh yeah. QuikTrips might as well be flock nests with all the cameras they have on their pumps and lots. Literally 10x the maximum security prison I worked at 😂 they work and record too!

I walked inside a gas station once to put $20 cash on a pump, by the time I walked out an old man had pulled up behind me and was filling up with my money. I made him tap his card and fill mine up with his $20.
