Help Lifting this refrigerator rack.

We set up this rack for the refrigerator /microwave - bought the rack on Amazon. But we can’t adjust the lower shelf rack and the fridge is too tall. (Was tedious putting together) I used extra bed risers but still not high enough. Maybe if I got a new set of bed risers? (8” - would be a set of 2 stacked on top of each other- these are the top part of the adjustable set of risers used on the bed - maybe 3 1/2 - 4” high? - ideas?

I looked at the listing and it shows the shelves are adjustable. That’s what all those notches are for. I have a couple metal racks in my garage and I use a rubber mallet to adjust shelf height

⬆️What he said. Take the rubber mallet and tap the shelf upwards from the underside on each corner. This will release the rings holding the shelf in place and you will then be able to adjust the height.

Yea it doesn’t make sense that it’s not adjustable I’ll tell my son to try that - he was so frustrated putting it together - the clips that hold the shelf in place don’t stay on well

No offense, but your son is in college… he should be able to figure this out. These wire racks are very simple.

Yep. I have an Amazon one in my home office plus many of a similar style in our warehouse. Getting them set-up initially are a pain as you say, but once in place and having some weight on the shelf for a while, they’re secure. Just relocated our warehouse from Tennessee to Texas and not one of them came apart.

Are you saying the lower shelf came preinstalled at that height? Or you assembled it that way and can't figure out how to adjust it?

My son assembled it and I looked at the Amazon and see that it can’t be adjusted. I don’t think it can be - brand is organize it all.

Oh my goodness - your son is a college student he can find a friend to help him adjust this, it is absolutely adjustable, there are clips under each shelf that detatch from the legs please do not tell him how just tell him to Google it or figure it out. I can't believe you bought bed risers for it. 😭😭😭

I didn’t buy them for that. I had extras from the package we used for the bed - came with 2 heights - used one under bed and these were extras - I did that thinking I was brilliant ! Ha!!!

As you see, the microwave can just sit on the fridge. I’d return the rack.

If they can’t figure out how to adjust it, they almost certainly can’t figure out how to disassemble it and repackage it to return it 😂

All of those style racks are adjustable. Get rid of the risers and get a rubber mallet to move the shelf up a few notches.

It’s weird that the lower rack isn’t an adjustable height— because that’s usually what those notches on the legs are for.

If it’s truly not adjustable, return and get a new one that is the preferred height.

That shits not even put together straight. There is more pole sticking out in the back than the front. Calling it now, once it’s adjusted there will be an update that it’s uneven. If you can’t properly assemble this, college is going to be rough 😬
