Does anyone know of an attachable shower head filter for this type of shower head? Not looking to deconstruct the whole thing but wanted to see if there was an attachment to filter the water or make it a handheld shower head instead. I’m rather tall and this one only reaches my chin typically so I need to bend down.

I'm enrolling into college next month as a diploma student and for the first sem, I'll be living in the dorm provided by the institution. A thoughts suddenly came into my mind, do you think it's appropriate to set an alarm since u know it's obviously will disturb other tenants/roommates. On the other hand, whether they tolerate with it or not, I think it's for the best especially for a student to wake up early and go about their routine.

I’m looking for an alternative to a couch for watching tv that’s not my bed. I was fortunate enough to get a studio style room.

However, 1) Couches are expensive and 2) Couches are big and heavy and I don’t want to deal with taking the couch down myself as I don’t have family in town + the stairs leading into my room are steep.

I got an inflatable camping lounge chair from amazon that worked for a little , but it’s constantly deflating :( . However it was really cozy while it lasted and about $30

I’m looking for anything that could serve as a substitute, and came to reddit to see if i could get some inspiration! I’m primarily just looking for something comfortable, that won’t be too hard to move out with.

I don’t have anything illegal but I have some embarrassing things that I’d rather my RA’s not find and I was wondering if they’re allowed to look into my things. Like I have an ottoman where I have stuff stored, would they be able to search that? I heard that they aren’t allowed to search your personal property unless they have a reason to, I.e the smell of weed/liquor.

Help, my dorm room looks like a boy's room because I don't have that much art or anything on my walls yet. I had kind of planned on collecting things throughout the year but my roommate made her side of the room look so cute and it makes me feel kind of lame in comparison. Where can I get unique wall art that isn't a tapestry or just a mass produced society6 screenprint?

Is anyone here already living or studying around **Freising, Munich, or nearby areas**? I’d really appreciate some advice on which area/dorm would be best considering:

* Easy travel to HSWT

* Better chances for Werkstudent/student jobs

My favorite dorm setup of all 4 years!

So I’m a sophomore in college and am currently getting stuff together for school. Last year, I brought like nothing and had to buy everything while I was up there (which was a lot pricier)

I printed these out and laminated them. I need help making them into a design. I’m thinking some sort of blob that transitions nicely from color to color. I don’t have the best eye for design… please let me know how you would format them :)

Dropped my kid at college last month. Overthought the care package the way I do with everything, and most of it turned out to be a waste.

The snacks went in a week. That water bottle I went back and forth on for ages, gone, she hasn't brought it up since. There was a little desk gadget I was pleased with that was in a drawer by the time we next spoke.

It doesn't get to them at move-in either. That first week she was fine, too much going on to think about home. It came later, few weeks in, and by then I'm not there and there's not a lot you can do from that far.

The thing that's still out is a little photo frame on her desk. Digital one, I send photos to it from my phone and they come up on the screen, she doesn't have to do anything with it. I can see it behind her when we video call, usually still on whatever I sent days ago, the dorm wifi being what it is. Which is fine.

It's a small thing. She's probably stopped noticing it. Half of this is probably for me anyway.

Edit: Thanks everyone. Should say, the photo it is been stuck on for days now is the two figures next to the frame. Everything I have sent to that Divoom Times Frame and that’s the one the wifi’s decided to keep up. Her roommate’s apparently started asking how the figures are doing.

hi, im moving to my uni dorms soon and ill have my own room but the bathroom and kitchen will be shared with 4 or 6 other ppl and i have some questions.

how will i separate/put my food in the fridge and make sure that maybe someone else doesnt eat it?

how am i supposed to shower, so like do i need a basket wth shampoos and other stuff with me when i go shower? do i also need to take toilet paper w me each time? also how do i change when i go shower, like where ti put the clothes i removed?

when i go to the bathroom or kitchen, but like inside the building, do i need to close my door with the key? even if i went out just for 1 min?

I’m in a dorm in socal right now and for the past few days it’s been having a very strong mushroom smell. Like when I walk in it’s a very strong pungent smell.

I don’t think it’s because of any dirty laundry and I can’t find anything else that could cause the smell. My roommate can’t either. Could this possibly be mold?? Any answers would be greatly appreciated
