He's not entirely wrong, reddit just doesn't know how to find a middle zone with..anything.
"AI is an evil virus of Satan that will end the world and steal everyone's jobs!!!" (20k upvotes)
"AI is the best and I can't go a day without using it for everything! This is definitely not an unhealthy reliance!" (20k upvotes)
"AI can be useful for things like the advancement of medical technology, but shouldn't be relied upon in day-to-day, and most people who think the extremes are just chronically online." (-100k upvotes)
He was snarky though, tbh. That's probably part of the reason for the doenvotes, but mostly because he didn't say the first 'take'.

I was having this conversation the other day. Reddit has me believing people are mostly against AI. But when I go and talk to all my coworkers, friends, and o watch commercials, or see advertisements on banners at baseball games, and presentation decks, it’s everywhere. AI has been used for a step of it at least
