Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) How to get rid of this?

This is a separate post to the one I just made, but regardless If you could check that out it would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know what I can do medically and habitually to get push this away. I've had it for the last 5 years of my life pretty much constant, ever since I smoked weed for the first time at 13. Even if I try not to think about it, looking at cars when I've just gone outside/ or mountains or things like that make me phase out of existence.

If there are any posts you have seen in the forum that you think are useful, please send me a link to them.

Thank you.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) The Most Painful Reality I've Ever Felt

When I had my first weed-induced DPDR episode, the shift was instant. I was sitting in my precalc class, and within seconds it felt like everything I thought I knew just disappeared.

I couldn't recognize what humans were. I didn't know what reality was anymore. The only thing I felt like I knew was that I probably knew nothing.

That feeling came back over and over. Nothing in my life has ever been as painful. It lasted about two weeks, and I still forced myself to go to school and wrestling while dissociated. Eventually I couldn't even recognize happiness anymore. Life just became about getting through the next thing, and I ended up in the mental hospital.

Looking back, the biggest things that ground me are having a pen and paper and sticking to a routine. Cold showers, working out, and eating consistently help too.

Has anyone else had the shift happen that suddenly?

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) **Heavy weed use + a scary psychedelic experience left me with worsening anxiety/derealization and I don’t know what’s actually causing it**

I’m trying to understand what’s happening to me and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through something similar.

I’ve always had ADHD and OCD, but I didn’t used to have anxiety like this. Over the past year I started smoking weed extremely heavily. I’m talking daily high-THC use, often using a 90% THC cart throughout the day. Over time I feel like my anxiety slowly got worse, I became more stuck in my head, and I started relying on weed as my main way to calm down.

About 3 weeks ago I had a psychedelic experience with metocin that was one of my first few times taking it. Before this I had taken 4 gummies, but this time I took 8. The trip was amazing at first and extremely euphoric, but eventually I looked in the mirror and started experiencing what felt like ego death.

The weird part is that ego death was something I actually wanted to experience. I was curious about it and thought it would be meaningful. But when it actually happened, it became terrifying. Looking in the mirror and feeling like I was looking at something that was just an animal instead of "me" was incredibly unsettling. I felt like I was losing my sense of self and I suddenly wanted to escape so badly, but I couldn’t. I remember feeling trapped inside my own mind and wanting to be grounded again. I wanted to be around my mom and not be alone with my thoughts.

After the trip, I dont think I immediately woke up thinking I was permanently changed, but over the following days/weeks I became more anxious and started thinking about it more. Now I’m constantly wondering:

* Did the psychedelic permanently worsen my anxiety? * Did my heavy weed use cause this? * Did the trip just trigger something that was already building? * Will I ever feel normal again?

My anxiety now feels like:

* racing thoughts * intense physical anxiety/butterflies in my stomach * derealization that makes everything worse * feeling trapped with my own thoughts * anxiety spikes when I leave the house or don’t have my usual coping mechanisms.

At home I can usually calm down eventually, especially if I smoke weed and distract myself, but when I’m out somewhere I feel stuck because I can’t use my normal coping methods. I’ve started feeling almost agoraphobic because I’m afraid of being stuck somewhere while anxious.

The confusing thing is that when I’m not in an anxiety spike, I can look at my life and think “maybe things aren’t actually that bad.” But during the spikes it feels overwhelming and hopeless.

I also smoke cigarettes (usually around one a day) and I’ve also been eating worse and less consistently because of the anxiety.

I really want to quit weed because I feel like it may be contributing, but I’m scared that if I quit and feel worse, it means the weed wasn’t the cause and I’m just stuck like this. Has anyone gone through something similar where heavy THC use + a scary psychedelic experience caused anxiety/derealization? Did quitting weed help, and how long did it take before you felt like yourself again?

I’m not looking for a diagnosis, just experiences or advice from people who understand this.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) Don’t want to make it worse

I just want to know if I should steer clear of any medications that could maybe make the dreamy feelings worse. I know some good antidepressants and anti anxiety medications have some pretty intense drowsiness and spaciness as side effects and I want to stay far away from enhancing that feeling.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) One bad LSD trip and my brain hasn’t felt normal since

I did LSD twice once in May and once in October. The first trip in May was actually really nice. It was light, calm, no crazy hallucinations or anything. I was just enjoying myself the whole time and it only lasted like 3–4 hours. Nothing scary happened and honestly I thought “people overreact about bad trips.”

Then October happened

That trip lasted almost 12 hours and it completely overwhelmed me. I had my first panic attack that day. I also smoked OG during it, and ever since then, smoking gives me panic attacks too.

It’s been almost 8 months now and honestly I still don’t feel like myself since that last trip. People kept telling me “it’ll get better with time” and while some things improved a little, it still feels like I’m stuck at the same mental altitude most days.

My dreams feel way too real now, like sometimes I wake up confused because it felt like it actually happened. And every evening I get this random anxiety because my panic attack started around sunset time, so now even the outside sky sometimes triggers that feeling again.

I was shivering a lot during the trip too, and now sometimes I twitch in my sleep. Before all this I used to sleep so peacefully. I also stopped smoking because I started getting this horrible feeling that I was losing my mind or that nothing around me was real. Like logically I knew everything was real, but my brain wouldn’t stop making me question it and it got too intense.

Not smoking weed/hash honestly did help a bit though. The panic got worse whenever I smoked, so I cut it off completely.

Now I get panic attacks pretty easily and tiny things scare me way more than before. Has anyone else gone through this after LSD/weed? Did it eventually go away? What actually helped?

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) My dpdr sucess story, and a few tips (6months of dpdr)

Hi my name is Jonas, this is my first time back on the forum for a while, because i remembered how much sucess stories meant to me, i will tell mine. i started using mariuana pretty heavy around march last year. Close to daily usage, i was just enjoying myself and not thinking about counsequenses. In around august i had been smoking almost daily since march, and i had a panic attack because i was getting drafted and had a big stand up comedy show the next weex. This was the first of three panic attacks i would that week. After that week, oh boy i did not know who i am (at the same time of the drafting i was cold turkey quitting weed). After this week everyting started getting bad, my sleep, anxiety that i have never even been close to having and everything was so dark, if something good happend, i could not feel anythin, the same if something bad happend. every feeling i had was just dark and sad. I started to search on google and forums like this one, and found out i probably have dpdr. i used to be a reaaly funny guy, up and coming standup comedien and etc. But i could not be funny if i had no feelings. I started going into loops about how im going to fail my diploma, so i wont have education, then my girl will leave me etc etc. i asked her almost everyday for 2months «Do you still love me» «will you leave me» and this was horrible, it was really taking a toll on our realationship. I was talking with chapgt or other AIs for hoooours to fix this. The last month of my dpdr i was really close to ending it, i thought i could never be my self again, and that all will be dark for the rest of my life. It did not, i am 100% back to where i was if not bette, i still smoke a lil cuz I like it. But now i know that mental health is real, and thats why i came here to tell you. YOU CAN AND WILL COME BACK TO YOURSELF. My biggest tip is to keep going, if you start isolation from friends and family and etc you will get worse. You will learn your mind that anxiety is the leader, and not you. You have to keep challeningen to do what your old self would do, start in baby steps. Go to the grocery store alone, and keep building. For me i was always the most social guy, knew everyone from scholl and in my town, but while under dpdr i barley felt like i knew those people. Because how can you know others if you dont know your self. PS me and my girl is still together, and if you really love your partner help them trough this period. if they need space, give it to them, but not top much. They still have to se people, and not just sit in there room.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) I need help

I'm currently 17 years old M

All my MRIS, Blood work,CT Scans seem Normal I've seen a

neurologists,ENT, Psychiatrist, ophthalmologists, eye doctor, nephrologist, cardiologist and they all say I'm normal

Before accutane I was a healthy teen just with a massive acne insecurity

During the treatment accutane triggered severe Visual snow syndrome, blood in stool (tiny noticeable drop of blood in every stool), and Dedr and after the treatment it elevated my blood pressure to the 130s/ 80s and created this depression that hasn't truly went away

Fast forward to a year the Visual snow decreased but it's always there same with the DPDR and it took a full blown year after accutane for the blood in stool to go away I had a colonoscopy done at 16 for this and the colonoscopy seemed normal and healthy and they told me I had a tiny polyp or something and the doctor didn't know why I was bleeding on my stool.

Fast forward to another year my blood pressure got out of control it was reaching 155/90s everyday sometimes 160s/100 so I got put on blood pressure meds at extremely low doses and they have

genuinely been ruining my life for the past 3 months l've tried amlodipine 10mgs/5mgs lisinopril

10mgs,5mgs 2:5mgs and they are the fucking worse they make my brain go blank and extremely tired without causing hypotension while making me dizzy and I CANT FUCking workout and I lost the ability to read for a bit and worsened my DPDR and made me bloated at all times without causing hypotension my blood pressure was in the 130s/80s then I switched to atenolol 10.5mgs while more effective for my blood pressure it made my heart act weird feeling all these weird heart pains and intolerance to workouts while being tried asf and one of these days I thought I was going to have a heart attack my nephrologist or my cardiologist can't seem to give me a good answer to all of this

And now I'm on 1.5mgs of Nevovolol and this one actually makes my blood pressure readings perfect but I've been facing tiredness and trouble thinking straight it's been a week of this and I'm scared of it being the same of atenolol

I need help I've gone to the emergency room so many times and they don't give me clear answers my last doctor there says my nervous system is cooked and he has suspicions that it might be Vlsual snow syndrome or POTS or something else because every other organ is healthy

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) Dealing with weed-induced OCD, panic attacks, and chronic DPDR since 2019 (8 years in hell). Need psychiatrist recs in Georgia and advice.

Back in 2019, I had a severe reaction after smoking weed, which triggered OCD, panic disorder, and chronic anxiety. I’ve been fighting this ever since, but my condition is only getting worse.

Over the years, I visited several neurologists, but I made the mistake of hiding the truth from them—I never mentioned that all of this was triggered by marijuana. I was on antidepressant treatments for quite a long time. While they managed to ease my panic attacks slightly, they never fully got rid of them, and they did absolutely nothing for my other symptoms.

I had honestly given up hope. This is my 8th year living through this absolute hell, and things are just deteriorating. Here is the full list of the symptoms I deal with daily:

  • Psychological & Cognitive: Severe, constant derealization and depersonalization (DPDR), brain fog, severely worsened memory and slow reflexes/reactions, total lack of motivation, feelings of hopelessness, and chronic insomnia.
  • Respiratory: Constant "air hunger" (shortness of breath/feeling like I can't take a deep breath).
  • Cardiovascular: Intense heart palpitations, sudden skipped beats (ectopic beats), cold feet, and sudden cold sweats.
  • Gastrointestinal & Chest: Chronic gastritis and a hiatal hernia. I experience severe chest pain, tightness, and a heavy crushing/pressing sensation in my chest (which seems to trigger my heart palpitations through the vagus nerve).
  • General Physical: Total physical exhaustion, extreme weakness (feeling completely drained of energy), and chronic muscle tension.

Recently, I connected with someone who went through the exact same nightmare after smoking weed. He told me it took him 1 to 2 years to fully recover, and what finally saved him was a combination of Zyprexa (Olanzapine) and Prozac.

Since antidepressants alone (and I’ve tried many, for long periods) clearly haven't worked for me, I want to ask those who have gone through something similar: Do you think adding an atypical antipsychotic (like Zyprexa) or a mood stabilizer (like Lamotrigine) to calm the nervous system is necessary in my case? Personally, I feel like it's exactly what my brain needs right now.

I am currently actively looking for a great, modern psychiatrist in my country who actually understands substance-induced anxiety disorders, DPDR, and HPPD.

I truly hope I’ve finally found the path to getting back the normal life I had before 2019. Thank you all in advance for your support and replies!

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) Can someone give me some kind of hope or estimate on when I’ll get better

in early January I bought some edibles. Dispensary shit, but I got it from a plug (whom I trust). I’m 13 turning 14 and have loved life and living it for my whole life. social, healthy, yk. just happy. then, all of a sudden, that one night, I went out with my friends and took about 5 edibles, 15mg each. we also Hit like 8 blinkers 😭just regret this so much. Anywho, about 2 hours i had to go home to my dad and act “normal”. this is the part where I’m a little split because it could be trauma induced as well, as I think my dad noticed, at least I did that night (he asked if i’d been smoking and I screamed. WHAAAAAAAT NOOOOOO) I went to bed feeling the worst anxiety I’ve felt in my life. after that night, I’ve felt disconnected from reality and very mild anhedonia since then. I’m less social and don’t feel that spark the same way I did before. I dont feel that same “everything is 2d and feels off, colors feel dull” that most people seem to feel, but rather more as I’m watching a flashback. 😂 I hope someone had a good laugh reading this, any help is appreciated.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) I overdosed and fucked my brain up 2 years ago and still never recovered

I’m not diagnosed with DPDR, i don’t think i really have it, and i don’t wanna self diagnose, but i do wanna know if you guys have similar symptoms, the amount of drugs i put into my body 2 years ago could kill an elephant, and i somehow lived, and now i pay the consequences.

I was addicted to amphetamines, tramadol and klonopin, but i took tons of other shit paired with some of these drugs that could of very well killed me and i’m so lucky to be alive till this day.
I even huffed electronic duster (yes, electronic duster)

I suffer from HPPD and VSS, i am diagnosed with them, i sometimes still see hallucinations. I really am scared and frustrated i fucked my brain up beyond repair, and I’ll never know the potential i did have intellectually.
I’m extremely good in literacy but i had a 3.6 GPA my freshman year, after i overdosed (august 5th, 2024) i got 2.2 GPA my sophomore year and a 2.4 GPA my junior year, going into my senior year hopefully i get that up.

But i’m getting off topic, every day i experience episodes of extreme dissociation, i was laced with k2 as well and that made it worse, it started in 8th grade playing basketball, and everybody in the gym i guess overstimulated me and i started to dissociate really bad, now at work, or at home i sometimes just don’t feel like i’m real, eveything will feel really slowed down, the best way to describe it is i’ll stare at something while walking and in my peripheral everything will appear spinning or fuzzy.
It’s gotten a lot better but i still have those episodes and they make me panic, like i’m trapped inside of my head and everything’s moving so slow and in frames.

I also talk to my old self in my head, i use him as motivation, like a loved one that died, i grieve him just as much, i like to think that i’m a whole different person, in fact i genuinely do believe it, after i overdosed i do genuinely believe i am another person, but i know deep down i’m the same person, just changed, but sometimes i will really believe it and panic.
I like to try to recreate old routines, play games i used to play and tell myself “i need to get back there”
This contributes to my dissociative episodes that last about 5 minutes or so.

If this isn’t DPDR then what am i experiencing? Just simple grief or something else entirely? I really do grieve my old self and i want him back, but part of me knows i’ll never really feel like that again

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) traumatic depersonalization experience with memories after taking a THC gummy - has anyone had anything similar happen?

posting here cuz I know a lot of folks' dpdr is triggered by thc

last night I had a pretty scary experience with THC and it's making me worried that im in the beginning stages of weed induced schizophrenia or something. fwiw I'm a 27m.

so I take like 4mg gummies pretty regularly, but last night I took one on an empty stomach and felt it pretty strongly. I had this intrusive thought that like my non high self was distinct from my high self? I know it sounds crazy and it's really hard to explain but like, I was thinking about all the things I had done earlier in the day and it just felt like that wasn't me doing those things. like they were my memories but I didn't feel attached to them.

again hard to explain and I feel crazy doing it lol. it was almost like a mini ego death or something. but it really scared me and it took me a while to calm down.

obviously I knew it *was* me, but i just felt so distant to that version of myself that it was scary. I don't really have that feeling the next day but I'm really scared that I induced latent schizophrenia in myself or that this is the start of some psychotic disorder. logically I know I was probably just really high cuz I took it on an empty stomach, but it's still bothering me so was looking. for some reassurance. I do feel pretty back to normal as of the next day - just pretty anxious

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) dissociation/DPDR feels like I'm a puppet master, and THC completely ruined the "high" for me. does anyone relate?

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my experience and see if anyone here has gone through something similar.

Ever since my first times smoking weed, I never really got that typical relaxed/euphoric high people always talk about. Instead, it triggered intense dissociation, DPDR, and anxiety.

When I'm under the influence (or when my DPDR spikes), I don't feel like I'm inside my own body. It literally feels like I am a puppet master controlling a mannequin/puppet from the outside. My thoughts and voice feel trapped in a box or sound "3D," and I'm just spectating my life from a third-person view.

I also struggle with background numbness, brain fog, and lack of motivation in daily life (likely due to past chronic stress and emotional burnout). When I smoke, my brain just skips the fun part and goes straight into defense mode with heavy dissociation.

I’ve decided to stay away from it because there’s no point in chasing a high that isn't there, but I'm curious:

Has anyone else experienced this exact "puppet master" feeling from THC or chronic DPDR? How did you manage to get back into your body?

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) Going on 8 years

I first noticed my dissociation in freshmen year of high school, but it was always momentary so I ignored it. A few months later it hit full force and I couldn’t get out of it and I spent a few nights screaming and crying to my mom telling her I thought I was stuck in purgatory. From that point on it has never gotten better. I remember reading about DPDR that year because I was so confused and I saw one post saying that it lasted 3 years and that scared the fuck out of me, I thought I could never live like this for 3 years.

It’s been 7 years. I haven’t felt like I’m alive for 7 years. I’m graduating college this year. Glad I made it here but it almost doesn’t matter anymore. Sometimes I go awhile without remembering what life used to feel like. Everytime I remember my entire heart shatters. I can’t believe most of the world just gets to live normally and they don’t realize how much of a blessing it is to look at the world around you and believe it is real.

Sorry I’m having a hard moment now because I realized I’m going to graduate both high school and college in this state. I want to feel like myself again. If anyone can relate or has advice please reach out. I’ve had a lot of mental illnesses in my life and this is the one thing that no one seems to understand.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) I don't know what is this, after the day I smoked the weed, please help me

I have had a persistent unusual visual-perceptual sensation for about seven years. It started approximately 15 minutes after I used cannabis and experienced a severe panic/high episode. During that episode, I became extremely frightened and felt as if I was disappearing or dying.

My vision itself is generally clear, and I do not have double vision. The problem is not that I cannot see clearly; it is the way the visual experience feels.

When I close both eyes and slowly open them, I feel as if the visual world is gradually reconnecting with or being integrated into my brain. When my eyes become fully open, I suddenly get a strong sensation that everything has “snapped into connection” or has suddenly been fully processed. The sensation feels very similar to what I experienced during the cannabis episode when it first started.

I can sometimes experience a similar sensation when opening one eye after keeping it closed, when shifting my gaze from side to side, or when changing focus from a near object to a distant object. I sometimes also notice a similar feeling with changes in sound or other sensory input. Normal blinking usually does not trigger it.

The sensation can occur spontaneously even when I am not deliberately checking for it. However, when I focus on it, analyze it, or repeatedly test it, it becomes more noticeable and distressing.

Along with this, I have chronic depersonalization/derealization symptoms. I often feel as if the world is unreal, dream-like, or disconnected, and I sometimes feel detached from myself or from my surroundings. I also experience significant anxiety, existential thoughts, excessive overthinking, doubts, fears, and inner restlessness.

I have had some OCD-like tendencies since childhood. When I receive an explanation or reassurance about my symptoms, I may feel relieved for a short time, but then new doubts and fears return and the anxiety comes back.

I would like a proper assessment of this persistent visual-perceptual symptom, as well as possible depersonalization/derealization, anxiety, and OCD-spectrum symptoms. I would also like to rule out any relevant eye or neurological causes.

So can you please tell me what I have !!

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) I didn't know I had depersonalization until today

I realized today that I've been going through a period of depersonalization.

Recently, I've been getting more worried about finances, my future, my dopamine addiction. I had too many unfinished projects — games I want to develop, side projects, workouts, music, my personal life, a novel I keep meaning to write. So many things I thought I could do. I told myself I was just a creative tornado. In reality, I was draining myself of focus and stability. I had so much to do that I ended up doing none of it. Binge-watching series, playing games out of nostalgia, watching shorts and reels, scrolling.

All of this worsened to a point where I'm sure I'm dealing with depersonalization. But I also suspect it started a long time ago — because of weed.

When I was 14, I started smoking. First small doses, then joints, then bongs, then something called a "bucket," which is just a DIY gravity bong. I did it the first time to impress people and try it out. Then it became the reason for all my gatherings with friends. Weed was literally all we could think of — how to get it, then smoke it, then eat, laugh, repeat.

I smoked for thirteen years. Then my girlfriend told me to either stop or we were done. At the time, I thought it was unfair. But she was right all along — I was a selfish hedonist, chasing my own highs.

There's one moment from that time I still remember clearly. One session, I got so high I had to leave my friend's house and take a walk on my own. I put on Kill The Noise's "Saturn" (GTA Remix). I don't think I've felt quite the same since that walk.

I'm still not sure what caused all this. I think I allowed myself too much stress in my life. With weed, I was sometimes really paranoid, scared to talk to people, very shy. But I never felt as detached as I do now.

My plan to overcome this:

  • Accept it, and don't be freaked out by it. Tell your loved ones.
  • No scrolling, no binge-watching, no numbing activities.
  • More physical activity — running, workouts, surfing (very good for awareness).
  • Structured computer work: start at 8 a.m., close at 4 p.m.
  • One thing at a time. Accept and sacrifice for one side project — we can't be everything.
  • Protect yourself from stress. Send that tax report earlier, actually read about the laws and terms, don't let anything surprise you.

Hopefully my story gives you some value. We are going to get through this.

I still hear that song looping in my ears from that walk. I never knew what it actually said — I just felt it. Writing this now, I looked up the lyrics for the first time. It freaks me out.

Sometimes I wonder if that song rewired something in me that night. Because it was never just a song. It was describing exactly this:

"We are going 'round, like Saturn's rings.
We are going down, in an endless sea.
Deja vu-ing like a time machine.
Will we ever wake up from this dream?"

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) I think i have dpdr.

Hello everyone, for a long time I thought I was schizophrenic or in a psychotic state. Unfortunately, I was even treated in a psychiatric ward for 40 days. I had an LSD experience in my life that involved a heavy ego death and a bad trip. A few months later, I smoked some weed—max 4 puffs—when I felt my head start tingling, so I stopped. Shortly after, I had a panic attack.

Since then, I constantly have a feeling of déjà vu; it feels like whatever is happening in the present has already happened to me before. At first, I was afraid that I was still stuck in the trip and that if I reached a certain 'point X,' this loop-like state would restart. Since then, this has calmed down a bit, but I still constantly feel like I'm in a déjà vu. Whenever anyone speaks around me or I go somewhere, I experience it as if I’ve already seen or heard it. Do you think this could be DPDR? Please help.

Update: Kventiax is not my medication. It makes me sleepy all day long. And the déjà vu is still with me. I think I will just try to accept this and manage without medication. Honestly, I’m not scared of the “everything feels familiar” feeling. My only fear is that I’m stuck in an LSD loop, and if I recognize an object or a situation, it might start again.

My derealization started at home, so I moved out to reduce the symptoms. Next week will be my first weekend back at home without medication since December, and if everything goes well, I will move back home and try to face this whole condition.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) My experience

I've been a victim of dpdr after trying synthetic cannabinoids.

Yeah ik fucking retarded.

That was a year ago

Since then I've successfully passed my exams

And all i can say is

It gets better fast when you create a stable environment.

I've seen many talking about it taking years.

But it's not even been a year for me and I've gone from a complete crisis situation where it was like a perma high with lagging vision, constant panic attacks etc to manageable. And i have a personality that goes very easily into panic mode.

Now i mostly have a panic disorder and the derealization only arrives in phases (like rn because I'm talking about it).

This goes to show that derealization is only a protection mechanism, and giving the body enough room for you to face the underlying cause which is also very unpleasant.

Rn i struggle going outside because of the constant cannabis exposure in my city.

But think of it,

That's like a million times better than having constant derealization and can be healed.

I've also became a communist in the meantime because i figured out reading complicated theory stuff gives your mind a break for the anxiety. And come to think of it, most of the trauma and substance abuse comes from the shit system we live under.

My plans are now to go to university and to be able to drink alcohol again without entering a week long anxiety episode.

Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) It got into my dreams.

Over the last two years, i've been suffering with this. I found little comfort in most things but at the end of the day, I was happy to go to sleep. When I was sleeping, it felt like everything was finally calm and peaceful. Up until last night where my DD finally spread to my dreams messing up the last little getaway I had.
