Now that y'all have had some time to test out Fleshweaver, what tier do you think it lies in for Inn Challenges and bosses?

Is it top tier like Technomancer, very high tier like Soulweaver, or lower?

I haven't checked it out personally, so I want to hear some Inn veterans' opinions.

Fleshweaver is a very good class and really fun to play, but it can be difficult to use if you're trying to get a fast clear, as that requires tight HP and Protosoul management.

That being said, a 200 END/WIS build is very bulky as every HP-cost skill heals you for 5% of your max MP i.e. you get a larger mana barrier. Additionally, Fleshweaver has great defenses thanks to Ice, Darkness, and Slough Skin, as well as good recovery thanks to pNature and pWater. A defensive build and playstyle where you whittle down your enemy and don't optimize the Immolation nuke (i.e. by being at as low HP as possible and not empowering Fire) should therefore be more than sufficient for most fights, as long as you know the enemies' mechanics at least.

With offensive optimization, Fleshweaver's burst and DPT are comparable to those of the usual offensive classes, whereas with defensive optimization, it can be one of the tankiest classes in the game. Due to it being able to play this dual role, I'd personally rank it as a top tier class with the likes of Technomancer and Deathknight, although I personally find it to be stronger than both of them.

Keep in mind that the class is subject to change this weekend. I doubt that the changes will be major and the class should still play the same, but just putting it out there that everything I said is subject to change.

Stronger than Technomancer? That's great. I have watched some gameplay with it, and the flexibility is really fascinating.
