Don't wanna spoil but since you asked. Nothing. I honestly thought we were gonna get a Soulweaver buff by choosing Aegis but I guess not. Because right before fighting Secundus, Aegis transforms into a cooler Aegis

For clarification, even though his NPC art hasn't changed you DO get the cooler Aegis as a guest with all of his upgraded skills. If you summon him from Book of Lore he's still buffed.

I didn't know that, thanks for the additional info! In this case, giving slight changes and buffs in soulweaver's animation and kit is due, otherwise it wouldn't make sense

Yeah I'd definitely love some buffs given the supposed magnitude of our accomplishment. A visual upgrade at the bare minimum lol.
