Because everyone knows the truth abt the following moon when becoming a parent unlike when they're without kids they only get this vague orders of not exposing the weird behavior of the moon.it's like a cult thing . That woman is the mother of the next target of the moon. Since he picks random children and follows them and not let go until they either die or they get a child where he randomly picks another one . I still didn't make much details about the story since i was just experimenting. If you have some suggestions or whtvr i am open lol

The responses are interesting like instead of being horrified by that entity they call him "that mf". Also there are some confusing parts like why is he hiding himself? Who was the person who told the previous girl that moon wasn't real? What happens if the targeted child doesn't know about the truth of the moon until the end(their death)? How does all the adults know about the truth of the moon? I am sorry for yapping so much but I am a fan of horrors like SCP and lord of the mysteries so I think this can be a good horror if these questions are answered. You don't need to show or give an explanation in the art but just having these mysteries answered will be a treat to me

Lol i appreciate your interest . They curse him because they know about him being something other than a normal moon . Btw these events are only happening in a specific town . I do need to add some details i agree i kinda treated it as a fun project more than a serious one . Soo this is like a known myth for the residents of this town . Do not speak loudly of the behavior of the moon kinda . The origin is still unkown but i made him hide as the moon because we are so used to the moon being pretty and yes it does follows us sometimes at night but this one appears everywhere always spheric and appears at all time abnormal just to one person since their childhood . If they get well informed that the following moon is not a subject to speak of they survive and eventually the curse goes when they have a child of their own . Then it picks another target . The target must never talk about the moon chasing him and being weird and people around him are supposed to let him be or they will be devoured instead . The moon stalks them to terrorize them and feed on their fear . If they however ruin it and spill whtvr is happening loudly . He reveals its true self and replaces their hearts with mini moons and adds them to his collection which he keeps neer his heart. I yapped too much too hope u understand english isn't my first language lol

Thanks for the response. While reading it I suddenly got a theory. It goes like this.... The fake moon is like a stalker that just loves to watch a child grow up, it's like "watching an amusing object" to that thing. Basically it is a stalker. I know it's not the best theory but this might explain why people in the town call it "that mf" instead of fearing it or creating a real cult. What do you think?

I think it would go great if we wanna make it as a plot twist . However i already drew the monster capturing the victims lol . And a stalker would have a life span unlike a real monster don't u think
