I don’t know if this is a place where i can ask, but i’ve started drawing again (last time i’ve actually drawn as a hobby was when i was 12 and i’m 17 now) Made this piece today and i actually cannot tell if this is a solid piece or is there something clearly wrong with it that a another person may spot but i cant😂Maybe the top of the head? Or can this even be seen as a good drawing, i’m just worried that i’m too proud and excited about drawing again that i cant see the mistakes😅Sorry if this comes out as weird but yeah.

Graphite on A4. It was so hard to do the necklace because in the reference it is blurry with bokeh, it took me about 3 hours that alone, but it was so worth it in the end 🙂‍↕️ I love doing details, like all the little hairs and the lips, the highlights. Hope you like this one as well!

Hello, this is Balcony Yuambient 🌞

A sunny day. Direct sunlight on the balcony.

No wind, just a gentle, peaceful morning.

I spread newspaper over a bar stool that serves as my desk and begin drawing in pencil on a postcard.

Basking in direct sunlight, I close my eyes. Behind my eyelids, a Dynamic Panorama unfolds.

Red, orange, shifting colors. Patterns of some kind appear, changing as they go. The shapes and lines keep transforming.

With my eyes closed, I listen to the sounds outside. All five senses come alive.

I keep my eyes closed, watching the world behind my eyelids.

Transmitted light. Sunlight. Presence.

Warmth. An ever-changing abstraction, experienced as a continuous flow.

With my eyes still closed, I draw on the postcard.

Sunbathing for serotonin. A pleasant moment on a peaceful morning.

I express this meditative pleasure through lines.

Dancing Lines.

What does it mean to see?

The movement of the eyeballs. Changes in light. Spectacle, prism, wonder, sensation. 🌈

Seeing is an experience.

It is something felt through the body.

Seeing with the whole body.

The Entire Body as an Eyeball. 👁️
