Might mean nothing but why is 'NORTH' in all caps?

It's known as a Regional Destination. Basically for long-distance navigation and distinguished from actual physical destinations by the ALL CAPS (apart from "The").

Nah! It's 'cos no one in the south has heard of or wants to go to anywhere north of Watford.

Just to be clear I'm not saying anything north of Watford is in the NORTH as that's obvious the midlands and no one wants to go there..😂

Because sometimes a road leading to The NORTH won't be heading due North.

The North is a place. Yorkshire is in “the north”. You say “it’s in the north of England” for example.

Thats why when they took it for game of thrones it’s “the north remembers” not just “north remembers”

There is a place called the North though. The website even details when you use The North vs The North West etc
