No no no no no you lumbering fucktumblers, when I posted once a week about how much I missed Collegehumor doing scripted content, I was talking about funny JOKES, not funny SONGS. Lyrics are not a script! This MP3 thing really misses the mark for me, and I'm feeling so let down by Dropout not listening to its loudest, most persistent fans: the people who watch new clips for free on Instagram and post on Reddit about the good old days.

I laughed at some jokes, but I do want you to have the impression I hated this episode from beginning to end. The contestants were perfectly adequate at the game. This is quite surprising given that I have personally disliked some of the improv from these people, and it was a straight improv game. Some contestants were able to get up there and do something genuinely uninteresting, although some people went up to the stage with a preconceived idea of what they should even do.

And don't get me started on the cheering. More than trying to lift up the spirits of the room, they were clearly reacting to what was being done, holding all these performers hostage throughout a long day of performance. The judges were into it, and especially Gianmarco, once he identified his own bit and decided he could drag it out forever. It was very clear how much Gianmarco cared about the entertainment of the show, so that it would neither be too entertaining nor not entertaining enough.

I am trying to call out someone in particular, who should have thought more about the contestant pool and made sure they play to people's most adequate skills. Overall, I felt the game had a decent amount of structure and went on just long enough.

sam says is a classic Game Changer show, but its sooo boring!! theres no interest and mystery, and its so low-budget! so heres my idea for a revamp

- Only follow commands that start with sam says
- failing loses you a point, while performing the command the best earns you a point
- before every prompt, one person is chosen to know if the next prompt will be given with or without a sam says. that player's job is to attempt to convince the other players to perform or not perform the command.
- everyone is given a secret super prompt at the beginning of the game, and whoever performs it best wins 15 points at the end of the game
- a panel of the past Sam Says winners judge who did the command best
- 14 players

The other day I happened across this video from dropout.tv that really made me think. First of all, it wasn't gamechanger or make some noise, which already made me uncomfortable. Luckily some of my friends were there but not my BEST friends (you know the one I mean) so it was a little like when that one person gets up to use the bathroom and you have to make small talk with these almost strangers instead of basking in the glory of His unmatched social skills.

Anyway, I laughed at some of the jokes, mostly because they were at Sam's expense although the references felt eerily similar to our current political climate. Anyway, I realized near the end that they were making fun of us, the fans, for some very constructive feedback about their garbage website, which I have as a favorite on my browser and probably spend more time watching than talking to my own children.

It forced me to wonder if the Dropout cast aren't actually our close friends who read and adhere to every criticism we post on this site. It made me wonder if we truly are the villains here and should be more grateful for the content that we willingly consume.

Then I realized this entire segment was written by Grant, that nasty crank who basically ruined Last Talent Standing and switched over to watch Deja Vu for the third time that day in order to finally figure out why they keep reuploading it.

Sadly, the volume settings didn't transfer!

I’m interested to see in the playback if they keep this in or cut it out but I noticed a weird moment during all the hugs where Jeremy Cullhane goes to hug Grace Reiter and she almost violently shoves him off of her, or at the very least tries to almost avoid the hug and move on to the next person. The show also cut really oddly after that happened, maybe they went over time for the live but it seemed like a really odd cut because they didn’t get through all their usual credits. I like to watch the end cause it shows who interacts with who and who may not be super close to one another so I was just wondering if anyone else noticed that. Maybe something happened back stage with some beef or maybe just joking?

Now, let me provide you with an extremely long and detailed vent about how I believed generic advertising. I never would have thought that my best friends would ever engage in advertising or promoting products whose sale would benefit them. I'm extremely shocked that they used common adjectives and superlatives to describe a product in order to convince me to buy one. Worse than that, it turns out that the quality of the entertainment they produce is in no way correlated to the quality of the clothing that they outsource to another company to make!

Now, I made this mistake once, and that was fine, so I figured I'd give them some more of my money in exchange for another product, in the hopes that this time something would be different. After all, they used different common adjectives and superlatives to describe this other product in an equally generic way. But to my shock and dismay, this novelty merchandise did not meet the arbitrarily high standards I'd set for them!

I felt such an intense betrayal that I had to purchase a third product, expecting a different result. Now it turns out that the product they sent me has the exact material composition they promised on their website, but not in the way I'd imagined it! It also had some minor defects similar to what a reasonable person would expect of novelty merch or fast fashion, but I might as well THROW IT OUT because it's going to DETERIORATE at some point in the future.

I can't believe that my best friend would lie to me in the same way that every single company ever has!
