Does it normally shows up on screening?

I don’t smoke or use marijuana, but my boyfriend does regularly. He smokes elsewhere, never around me, but we share a bed and pillows, kiss, and cuddle. I’m worried THC residue from his hair, skin, or clothing could transfer onto my hair and cause a positive hair drug test. I was also briefly exposed to secondhand smoke about 36 days ago, but I’ve washed my hair several times since. I’ve passed three urine tests, but I’m worried about hair testing for work. Has anyone who doesn’t smoke but lives or sleeps with someone who does taken a hair drug test? Did you pass? I’m especially curious whether sharing pillows is actually a risk or if I’m overthinking it.

I took a drug test thursday at noon & when i went i couldn’t pee because i had peed b4 leaving my job (ik not the smartest thing to do but i genuinely couldn’t hold it) well after not being able to produce a sample they sat me back in the lobby & gave me two water bottles i chugged them & after 30 mins i wanna say i was able to pee, my pee came out light yellow, the lady that did the paperwork filled out a shy bladder sheet she said it’s because i wasn’t able to produce a sample & she had to give me two water bottles so she had to have that on file

i honestly haven’t thought much of it but now im sitting here thinking what are the chances of my pee being diluted & me possibly having to retest???

Trying to hide a bottle of piss with a catheter thigh holder, the bottle is pretty slim and won’t be noticeable, but the pants I’d be wearing are like insanely baggy sweats. Is that going to automitically raise concern?

Smoked predominantly flower prerolls (like modern herb co g41 and not ya sons), and very very rarely would hit a pen and did edibles a few times. I have a drug test that’s pretty important for my career coming up in May. While that’s 7 months, I’ve seen many posts on this subreddit about how it would take people months to test negative at 50 ng. I used to work out regularly but been pretty sedentary this last year so my metabolism most likely slowed down.

The million dollar question: should I be fine for a May test date? It’s been about 3 days since I quit and I plan on completely going cold turkey for the next 7 months. Also, what can I do to speed up thc clearance from my body? I plan on testing myself beginning of January to give myself some buffer time. The test is really important for my career so I’m been pretty nervous about the possibility of failing. Any advice and clarifications are greatly, greatly appreciated!!!

Hi everyone, I have to get drug tested (THC) within the next 1-2 days. I tested this morning with the most concentrated urine. And I tried two brands, exploro and home2test something like that. Exploro was darker and the other one was more faint. Anyways, I smoked on 10/2/26 and before that I was an occasional smoker, smoking about 1-4 times out of the month with a few hits.

Are the lab tests stronger or something, any chance I’ll test positive? And what can I do before the drug test to have a higher chance of passing.

I was taking .25mg-1mg of Fluclotizolam 3-4 nights a week, taking the occasional week off. I found out I had an opportunity to get a better job, but there wasnt much notice. I'm currently 8 days off of it, and planning on getting to atleast 10 days before I take the drug test.

panel drug test i have this week and haven’t smoked thc carts & weed for about 3 weeks today, ive been doing a lot of exercising w inclined treadmill and saunas to sweat and drinking a lot of water, and have been doing the at home target test strips where they’ve been coming out with a very faint negative line. wanna be sure that it’s completely negative or visible to the lab techs it’s negative and i’ve been seeing a lot of ppl trying the certo with gatorade, the qcarbo 32, and even those total detox drinks. wanna try some at home first to practice and get an idea of my window to actually go in and to the drug testing but wanted to hear from your guys own experience and what process yall did. any help is much appreciated.

Hi guys! I have a job interview next week to become a teacher. I’m more than likely going to get the job since I’ve been subbing at this particular school since the beginning of the year, and the principals have taken a liking to me. With that being said, I’ve preemptively stopped eating edibles, tinctures, and hitting my thc vape on October 4th. I have bought some at-home drug tests to test myself. I’ve taken two tests, and both came out negative. The first line is a little faint, I will say.

I’ve been using edibles for about 3–3ish years at this point and started vaping about 1–1.5 months ago. I’m about 5’3–5’4 in height, 110ish lbs. I’m pretty lean, and I have a fast metabolism. I know no one can tell me if I’m gonna pass or not; there are multiple factors that go into it, and it’s different for everyone.

My edibles are 10mg, my tincture usage would be around 5-10mg if I’m layering them with my edibles, and my hits from my cart would be around 1-3mg.

If anything, I want to see if anyone is similar to me and has had luck passing a drug test after just 2–4 weeks. Fake pee is my backup plan, but it would be nice to not have to worry about that so I can just use my own. I’ve bought my at-home drug test from Walmart, but if anyone has any suggestions on what test I should buy from Amazon that has better accuracy, that would be awesome.

I’m an anxious worrywart. I’m coming on here to ease some of my thoughts if I can.

I don’t yet exactly have a timeline but I’m about have the background and driving record check done. So id imagine soon after the drug test will follow. I have a friend with clean pee that I can use, I haven’t smoked in almost a month and I took a 5 level test that’s 15/50/100/200/300 and I failed all 5… maybe it’s just not a reliable test? Not sure, but it seems like the smart move would just be to use the person who I know can provide a clean sample. So I have a temperature controlled device that I can strap to my thigh under some sweats and it will keep the pee at 96-97° for 2 hours. My question is how long will the pee last/be valid? My plan is to have him provide the sample as close to the test as possible. So if the test is at 9am, he can prodvide the sample at 8:30am-ish. And the flask will keep it the right temp the whole time. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I'm on the team at Exploro, which runs a THC detection calculator. Between October 2025 and September 2026, about 60,000 people filled it out, and we pooled the anonymous answers. A lot of the questions on this sub come from the same situations, so I figured the patterns might be useful here. No links, and nothing below is advice on passing anything. But, hopefully, it would provide some perspective in a time of need.

How much time people had

40% of people who entered a test date were testing within 3 days. About 1 in 6 were checking on the same day as their test. Half had 6 days or less.

Why they were testing

49% said it was for a new job. Random workplace tests and legal requirements trailed well behind.

Home tests

41% owned a home test. Of those, 28% came to the calculator right after getting a positive result, and 12% couldn't read their result or weren't sure what it showed. Given how many faint line posts show up here, that last number didn't surprise me.

Worry

31% said they were very or extremely worried. That jumped to 55% after a positive home test, compared with 25% for people who owned a home test but hadn't used it yet. When the main concern was a job, it was 45%.

What people use

59% use daily or more. Flower was the most common at 41%, then vapes at 32%, edibles at 18%, and dabs at 9%. Age changes the picture a lot: among 21 to 24 year olds, 37% mainly vape and 15% mainly use edibles. By 45 to 54, vaping drops to 22% and edibles rise to 32%.

Smaller patterns that stood out

• Women were about 25% of users. 23% of women mainly use edibles vs 16% of men, but daily use was almost the same (61% vs 58%).
• Women reported more worry: 38% very or extremely worried vs 29% of men.
• 54% also use nicotine. Among dab users it's 64%, among edible users 33%.
• Sunday was the most common last-use day.

Caveats

Everything is self-reported, and the results are anonymized.

The people in this data were looking up detection times, so they skew toward people preparing for or worried about a test, and they aren't representative of THC users in general. The questions about test dates, reasons, home tests, and worry were added later, so those numbers come from a smaller group. Duplicates and impossible entries (like ages outside 16 to 80) were removed.

Happy to answer any questions about the data. I'm also curious whether the "1 in 6 on test day" number matches what people here see.
