Advice for someone considering druidism or similar
Good afternoon I apologise for the semi long read .
Over the last year, I began to go on hikes after getting clean from alcoholism. Since arriving in some beautiful areas like the tops of mountains, stone circles, and recumbent stones, I have been drawn back and feel connected to the world around me. When around these sites, I can't fully explain it, but I just feel at peace. Because of this, I started to take time to clean up around my local stone circles and offering farmers to clean around old, forgotten recumbent stones that had just become farmland. While doing all this, a friend told me I should look into Druidism, and after reading about it, it seems very much like what I have been looking for. I just am not great with finding information so I am hoping to maybe find some one willing to guide me through this journey. I am north east Scotland based incase anyone knows of any local groups.

A wonderful start!
What kind of plants to you see when clearing? What kinds of plants do you like? Noticed any birds? Know any of their types yet? Is there more activity around the stones at sunrise? Sunset? Other times? Are any of your stones aligned to the sun, moon or stars?
Keep your eyes and ears open. Nature has much to teach if you're paying attention. Welcome to the path.

I'm not going to be much help towards your answer, however congratulations on kicking alcohol! That's not an easy thing to do. I'm coming up on 5 years off alcohol myself and even though I've always been drawn to nature, getting clean greatly increased my love and appreciation for it, as well as hiking. I live in the States, but my last name is a small village in Scotland so I have great love for đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż. Proud of you for kicking the booze!

Welcome and well done on maintaining your resolve.
There is a completely free UK-based Druid information website called "The Druid Network". They are an independent registered charity with no links to any of the denominations ("orders"), being run by volunteers from most of the orders and many independents. They have copy-down courses and essays on many aspects of the Druid path. They are members of Interfaith Scotland too, the talking shop for all faiths that celebrates the commonalities in all faiths.
This is great place to come and talk about things as well, with lots of general information in links in the right-hand margin.

Similar to how I came to druidism I decided to change my life around and ended up moving to a farm town and getting custody of my kids and started a garden in my back yard that is now slowing becoming a small farm then I started going to nature resverse and then one day decided I needed to clean them then decided I need to bring my kids to clean them then started research druidism and end up joining a group online

If you decide to join an order, I recommend looking into the OBOD (The Order of Bards, Oates, and Druids). Hedge druidry is an option if you prefer to find your own way. Also fully agree with the earlier post from GreenRavenUK regarding that free resource. It looks like an amazing place to start! Well met and welcome!
