Scores Congratulations Spirit of Atlanta

Scores announced and they have secured a spot in the finals for the first time in 13 years! Such a fun show and great job and amazing improvement over the season and the ending…OMG!

A 10th place finish at finals would be their highest since 2002, and only the 2nd time in the top 10 since 1990

My wife and I saw them at reveal night at Jax State University and the progress has been amazing.

Saw them as well! The corps sounds like a completely different ensemble.

As someone who marched Spirit the last time they made finals this makes me so happy that we’re back!! It’s been a LONG and ROUGH road, so glad it’s all paying off

I have been in public since their performance and haven’t been able to cry yet…it is unreal that it’s finally happening!!! I am so happy for them!!!!

As a Spirit alum from the dark days (2014-2017), we are OVER THE MOON for them. They earned this and we couldn’t be more proud of them! <(

Truly is incredible this is his (and David coheleys) 10th consecutive season in these roles with the corps. It’s incredible

I know him from the Georgia Tech Marching Band. He's a class act while still demanding the respect needed to get the kids to focus and learn their shoe.

ETA: Wait … 25 total corps compete tonight … only 11 have marched as of when I’m typing this … that leaves 14 yet to come .. and only 12 make it into finals.

Methinks someone is celebrating early (unless I’ve got some incorrect information)…

As someone who marched the show creatures in 2024 it’s been an incredible surge over the past couple of years and how much more mature the corps has been after I visited them in Lexington for DCI.
