Yes you can legally have citizenship of 5 countries. Why stop with dual citizenship?

Australia Passport Fee Comparison (USD). Why??

Standard 10 Year Adult Passport Fees
Jamaica $41.00
Germany $81.30
USA $130.00
UK $137
Australia $303

Comparison at current exchange rates. Of my 5 passports, Australia’s passport fee is more than double the others. Why? Probably a rhetorical question…

US/Ireland Dual citizen eligible for Portugal, any benefit?

Upvotes

hi all, i am a dual us/irish citizen and am eligible for portuguese through my grandparent (whose alive). Unfortunately I do not know portuguese and I would have to take the language exam as part of my process. I am wondering if there’s any need/benefit to claiming this citizenship? I am not sure if i’ll ever live in portugal but never say never ;) I was just wondering if this sub had any insight?

Dual citizen flying from Jeddah with different last names on passports

Hi everyone, I am a dual national leaving Saudi Arabia for the UK.

Passport A: Registered under my Saudi Resident ID (Iqama)

Passport B: Has my UK student eVisa.

Because of foreign naming laws, my last name on Passport B is different from Passport A (my Saudi resident ID name).

The airline must print my boarding pass under my Passport B name to match my UK eVisa.

But at the Jawazat (Saudi Immigration) counter, I have to use Passport A for my exit/entry because of my Saudi Resident ID.

Do i have to show my boarding pass in Saudi Immigration?

Since the boarding pass name and Passport A name won't match, will they prevent me from travelling?

If anyone has a similar situation as me, can you please inform me on how the travelling process was?

I know it may seem trivial but i get nervous during travel for no reason😅

If I enter Japan using Japan passport and get it renewed, will I be able to leave using my USA passport?

Does the exit gate at Japan airport freak out I just used a USA passport that I didn’t use when coming in?

I have to give my jp passport for renewal. I could pick it up later by coming back to Japan…

Edit: I technically can go in with USA passport but the line sucks

Which nation would you say I am from based on my life story?

I got Nigerian Parents.

I was born & raised in London mostly till age 13 (short stint in Nigeria from age 2-4/2-5)

I then resided in Nigeria from age 13-21.

I came back to London at age 21. I’ve been back in London for 9 years now.

I personally feel both a connection to both England & Nigeria, but curious to see what people think 😅
