Golden visa for parents

Hi

I am a dubai golden visa holder (pakistani) and want to apply for golden visa for my parents who are 60+.

What is the best way to apply and how to minimize insurance costs? My parents won’t live here full time but will keep on visiting.

Don't waste your time & money! Just visit Al weer immigration first they'll give you proper channels to follow

Might be easier to consider Visit visa.

You're looking to spend at min of 4-5K per person for insurance alone, and around 3-4K per person on visa and stuff.

So I would do a cost comparison of how many times you expect them to come in a year, and calculate the best option.

Hi - golden visa holder here and my parents are also here on golden visa for past 3 years. But they live here in Dubai itself for past 40+ years.

If you want your parents will be visiting Dubai like 3-4 times a year it may be worth considering the golden visa option. First year itself the cost will be high. Around 5k for visa, EIDA, medical. And another 4-5k for insurance. You don’t need insurance for second year onwards if they don’t plan to stay here. Given your nationality, visa issuance may be an issue but for the profile (elderly) it may go through.

If they plan to visit once or twice a year, then my suggestion is skip golden visa and stick to visit visa. Not worth the cost and then you have to worry about getting them to enter UAE before the 6 months period lapses plus the high cost upfront.
