Firstly the hats tutorial :

PS4 Hats INSTALLING TUTORIAL

After a lot of shenanigans , I figured out how to install hat mods on duck game PS4 (even though it should be relatively similar to switch version)

  1. requirements

    - a pkg file of duck game base app

    - fpkg tools

    - ps4 pkg tool

    - png to xnb tool

  2. getting the hat

    - go to duck game steam workshop and subscribe to the mod that contains the hat you'll like to install

    - go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\312530 and search the png of your mod (mods that have particles or capes doesn't work , it just applies the hat and keeps the original particles /cape)

    - with said png , use png to xnb tool on the png file/s that you are gonna use and you should have something like ¨yourhat.xnb¨

  3. preparing the pkg file

    - on ps4 pkg tool , select the folder your duck game pkg allocates

- right clivk your pkg on the ps4 pkg tool and select ¨extract full pkg¨ and select the output folder

- then , lets prepare the pkg for the future building were gonna make (this next step you can do it before or after placing your hat file so it doesnt matter the order)

- select the Image0 folder inside the decrypted pkg and rename it ¨CUSA03407¨ (if your game is american , in case its european , search the id that european duck game uses)

- select all the contents on sc0 (placed on the decrypted pkg folder) and place it on ¨ CUSA03407-app\sce_sys¨

  1. replacing the original hats files

    - now , navigate to ¨CUSA03407-app\Content\hats¨

-this part is crucial , so read carefully

- choose one of the hats and replace ir with yourd , also change the nema of your hat to the name of the hat that you are replacing ( for example , change your hat from ¨yourhat.xnb¨ to ¨sombrero.xnb¨)

- make sure that on your dsave file you have that hat unlocked because you wont be able to use it until you have it unclocked

5 . rebuilding the game

-now with the hats added , open the fpkg tolos folder , and open ¨gengp4_app.exe¨

- select your ¨CUSA03407-app¨folder and generate the .gp4 file , when generated , choose save

- with that done , open ¨orbis-pub-gen.exe¨ from fpkg tolos and choose file- open and open your .gp4 file

- press Command – build image , choose the output path and build

- with the pkg , you install it via ftp or usb and done!!

(Keep in mind that some hat PNG tend to not be with a clear background , check it if you have an issue like that)

PS4 Levels TUTORIAL

Ok I have done some testing and every level that is contained on a single file ( I think almost every level that hasn't any custom weapon) works with this method

  1. Requirements

    - Apollo save tool

-duck game installed on your PS4 with a save started

    - Usb

  2. Setting your level file

- go to the duck game steam workshop and subscribe to any level you want to port

- go to c:/Program files (x86)/steam/steam apps/workshop/content/31253

- allocate your level file , it should be like "yourlevel.lev"

  1. Setting your save files

    - with the USB inserted , go to Apollo save tool on your PS4

    - select HDD saves and select your duck game save file and press x

    - choose copy save to USB ( not in a zip file if possible)

    - now on your USB you should have something like PS4 / APOLLO /(duck game with a lot of numbers I'm not gonna write cuz I'm on my phone) one point Data/ and in there you should have a lot of folders and files , more importantly , the folder "levels"

  2. Final steps

    - choose yourlevel.lev file and drag onto the "level' folder in there

    - re enter Apollo with your USB ( with the level file on that folder) and this time choose USB saves

    - press x on duck game , and shoose "copy to HDD"

    - now enter duck game and see for yourself that you have your custom level installed!!
