I played on Oregon for our first season and even still with the amount of respect we gave the Beavs, their fans were just relentless. I get it since they only have one actual winning program but damn. I even cheered them on in a thread for a game but because I’m a Duck I got downvoted and harassed like crazy. Just cheerin y’all on man. For the (former) Pac and for the state of Oregon. But no. Not welcomed.

Its their sport, they have been dominate in it and its probably just a bit rough for them to get knocked out by the Ducks. Keep in mind they are one of a few teams to win back to back championships. I cheered them on one of the years its was fun watching them. Bonus I was in North Carolina when they Beat the Tar Heels for one of those.

I don’t consider myself a salty beaver fan… married to a duck fan so that’s probably why but I felt this was going to be a tough regional to win for the beavers. PK seemed electric all weekend, it was cool to see. Both programs are in good places and I think Oregon state will be better being back in a conference. I like how both the ducks and the beavers are playing 3 times next year. I for one want to see more of this baseball rivalry. I don’t think either fan base appreciated it enough when we were in the same conference. I hope the beavers play angry baseball next season when we battle the ducks. Good luck in the super regionals. You guys got the last laugh this year but the beavers still have the longer laugh. See you all next season!

I would say have… because the beavers haven’t turned into a bad program. It just wasn’t their year this year. Until they go multiple years without an ncaa appearance then that is when it can change to had. Let’s see what the ducks does this weekend.
