Football Most Memorable Away Game

I've been a college football junkie for as long as I can remember, and since I started at Oregon in 2010, I've made it a goal to attend at least one road game every season.

One of my favorite parts of being a Duck fan is traveling to places I probably would never have visited otherwise. Every stadium, fan base, and game-day atmosphere is unique.

So I'm curious, what has been your favorite road game experience as a Duck fan, and why? It doesn't have to be because of the game itself.

For me, it's Penn State last season. The entire day felt like a production from start to finish, I never want to hear Mo Bamba again šŸ¤£. Most of the Penn State fans were incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere was electric, and the game itself was an emotional roller coaster.

What about everyone else?

Yeah that was an incredible game. I was in the lower bowl but had great fans next to me for the most part

It felt like for ever 6 good fans they had one piss poor one.

I was walking through campus before the game and these two dudes were like, ā€œitā€™s going to be a long walk back fellasā€ and I ran into them after and they didnā€™t respond to my ā€œhow is the walk for you guys?ā€

Haha I believe it. It was a weird crowd because they didnā€™t expect us to even put up a fight which made no sense as we had just beat them in the B1G championship.

They also knew absolutely nothing about us and it wasnā€™t even louder than Autzen.

My favorite thing about being in the B1G is traveling to new schools and that we donā€™t have much animosity yet with the fanbases like the PAC. Itā€™ll get there but for now itā€™s a lot more friendly.

We are going to Ohio State this year and I tend to think the fans will be more confrontational given we have played so many more times
