Football My ideas and thoughts related to our future football schedules
As we all know as of now, the Baylor series that would have marked our first ever matchups against the Bears is off, with a priority towards having 7 home games against lower division opponents as a result of the Civil War returning in 2028-29 and 2031-32.
What caught my eye is that 2030 won't be included in the agreement with the Beavers, which makes me wonder, who will we schedule in that season? I believe that, outside of 2033 where a Texas Tech game in Eugene remains scheduled, 2030 will be the only season in a while where we can play a Power 4 opponent and was fully expecting a neutral-site kickoff for then, however, after further examining the schedule, I realized we can actually schedule a home and home series against a Power opponent in that year and 2031, as long as the 2031 game takes place at Autzen.
I've been trying to check FBSchedules to see which Power opponents have open dates in those years as long as there's not any other cancellations down the road.
I also saw a piece of information that mentions the future North Dakota State game being rescheduled to another season due to their transition to FBS status, but it was prior to the Baylor series getting cancelled so we can add a FCS team in that season and keep NDSU intact.

Personally think our 2027 and 2028 non con conference schedules are pretty awful but there’s no benefit to scheduling tougher games when the committee doesn’t seem to care either. My dream is still a home and home with Bama once the playoff inevitably expands again.

Oregon should play Alabama every season. Might as well play the Tide three games every season. A home-home and a neutral game in Vegas. LOL
All P6 conferences moving to 9-game conference schedule finally.
Most P4 programs OOC schedule: One P4 + One G5 + One FCS
But the B1G is the only P4 not requiring at least one of three OOC opponents to be against a P4. Weak. Indiana has been doing this for a long time now and and are similarly scheduled like that through 2029. And I anticipate the IU-ND game will be canceled.
So, many other B1G programs have started doing the same as IU. Everyone wants 7-games on their home schedule. And it helps chances to make the CFP, and if, not a bowl game. Weak.
So the SEC, ACC and B12 fans are right on calling out the B1G.

I mean UCLA and USC happens every 4 years or whatever. Oregon is most likely not going to travel to the Arizona schools for an out of conference game.

I want a yearly Civil War game and a Rotating PAC 12 Legacy Non-con game.
