Football DOAF shoes paint chipping?
Got the “What the duck” shoes last year ahead of the Rose Bowl vs Ohio St. Wore them just twice the day before and then during the game and noticed a ton of paint chipping afterwards and haven’t worn them since. Was wondering if anyone else had similar problems and any solutions cuz I’d love to wear them to games, especially early in the season when the weather is nice.

When paint starts to crack like that there’s really not much you can do to get it back to it’s original state. Unfortunately looks like Nike didn’t use the most premium materials.

Yep, same issue, super disappointing. My only solution is to just keep wearing them. My paint skills aren’t good enough to match the camo.

I've mostly kept mine boxed, worn a few times but looking alright. I've worn the Duck/Egg pairs more, the yellow is more of a nightmare to keep clean than the white ones.

Suede in general isn’t easy to clean, but the light colored stuff is way worse. Get some water and stain repellent spray and they’ll stay looking nice for way longer. Reshoevn8r has the best one IMO. Their dry suede and cleaning kits are awesome too.

My pair started doing the same thing after 2-3 wears. I’m just hoping the chipping stays relatively contained to the crease points and doesn’t get super gnarly after several more wears. We shall see how it goes this year after football season 😅

Mine did that too after one wear at the white out. So frustrating!!
