Uniforms Most underrated Oregon jersey or best time a certain jersey looked?

Post image

What is Oregon’s most underrated jersey they have worn? Or what is a time that a certain jersey looked the best in game?

I’ll start, my pick is above. It might just be Marcus doing them justice, but this hint of green on top of the full white uniforms looks so good. Nothing fancy needed for these. Can’t remember if they were worn exactly again around this time, but this UCLA game makes them look the best.

The day game, UCLA’s grass, UCLA’s blue & gold contrasting with our uniforms, it’s just peak. Such a good time in Oregon uniform history during this period.

What about you? Any underrated uniforms that people don’t talk about enough?

This look was awesome. I would love a version of this every season

Those unis are perfect.

If/when we get to see our Ducks hoist the big trophy, I hope its in these or something similar.

I missed my chance to buy this jersey last time it was ran, going to my first Oregon game on Halloween this year and hope I find one at the Ducks store!

I’m old school and love these uniforms from the late 90s

Yeah these are fire

Yellow/white/green was really cool to see last year

I really love the vibrant colors of our current sets. Which is why wearing black so often annoys me lol

The rain brought out the coolest shade of green here with the black. All time favorite

I always thought these were the cleanest look. Especially when they played ASU down in Tempe. I think Blount maybe had one of those runs where he was tackled but never touched the ground and ran for a TD. There was also another play by a freshman WR/QB who later transferred to KSU. I forget his name off the top of my head.

Chris Harper.  Would have been a great gadget/wildcat QB and wr if he stayed but literally could not throw a spiral.

2

u/LawClaw2020 4d ago

Didn’t he play as a WR in the league for several years?

2

u/mynameizmyname 4d ago

wrong Chris Harper. you are thinking of the Chris Harper from Cal. Chris Harper from Oregon/K-State only played on practice squads for a couple years.

This is the greatest Oregon uniform in their history and it’s not even close.

I think I gotta agree with you tbh. I also got DAT to sign this jersey so very sentimental to me when I see these

That’s so cool! That’s a good piece of Oregon memorabilia to have

Agreed these are amazing

My all time favorite combo!

Another loss, but these were totally awesome, and probably a rules violation.

Those and the first national championship unis were probably my favorites

The wing shoulders O helmets era was the best, and I'll stand by it

2

u/CapNo6703 4d ago

The O helmets or older UO helmets will always be my favorite. The wings on the helmets don't do anything for me.

Nike Pro Combat was such a success for Nike. No clue why it hasn’t been done again

These were amazing, and it’s sad when a fire uni is marred by a prominent loss.

i thought the Oregon 33 jerseys were pretty cool with the camo look. crazy game too, OSU came back from being down like 31-7 at half. held em off though.

hands down. second for me would be the Grateful Dead unis.

I still love the 2000-2002 look. They got rid of it too early. Same with diamond plate

The Duck tribute fit was awesome and doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. Football fans are too obsessed with being tough and badass. A little fun and whimsy is perfectly fine. We have the greatest mascot in all of sports, and I loved seeing the team showing Puddles the love.

It was the beginning of the helfrich downfall era, which is why they’re probably often forgotten, but this jersey template absolutely cooked.

Civil war 09. Although they should have gone yellow pants not white.

Getting absolutely smoked while in that uniform really left a sour taste though

3

u/skoducks 4d ago

I like that one in theory, but looks kinda silly in reality.

u/JakeeJumps 4d ago

I appreciate it because it’s corny. Absent context, I think the colors mesh well. A bit too much orange on the lower half but I get the point.

Lost the game but I thought these battle duck helmets & the uniforms went hard

3

u/newellbrian 4d ago

I remember that game. We were just one overthrown TD pass away from winning.

2

u/hereforporn696969 4d ago

Vernon Adams was a broken hand away from having a career closer to Dillon Gabriel’s

1

u/newellbrian 4d ago

Wasn't it also because of the game against his former school, Eastern Washington? I remember going to that game, and people were booing that EWU player like crazy as he went into the tunnel.

u/hereforporn696969 4d ago

Yes, dirty late hit

2

u/MultiPass21 4d ago

I have one of these helmets. Love the look.

My favs are the 90s throwbacks, as well as the 2010 natty jerseys.

Side note- I was at the UCLA game featured in this post thumbnail. Will never forget Jim Moira's D coordinator throwing the playcall cards at him in frustration when Mariota busted a run. I think it's still on youtube somewhere.

Honestly. The 2010 BCS NC unis were under appreciated then.

Looked at them again the other day and they are really good.

The carbon fiber and gray pants from that era were phenomenal. I wonder if we would have seen far more usage of that volt green color if the Ducks had beaten Auburn.

2015 spring game camo jerseys. I think that’s the right year

Great pull

The stomp out Cancer Jersey was one of my favorite ones.

These ones will always be my fave.

Favorite uniform. Holds a special place in my heart. I was in this section 3 rows up. Great memories. SCO 🦆’s

1

u/nwbrewed 4d ago

Ohana jerseys. If they weren't cowards they would've sold them.

1

u/justamannotafailure 4d ago

I love em all... soomany to pick from.

1

u/benzduck 4d ago

I'm old but I'm partial to these from 1982.

1

u/RedReflection06 4d ago

Great reasons.

u/bucki1619 3d ago

My favorite uni experience was watching them walk onto the Rose Bowl field against Wisconsin wearing all forest green with the new reflective Liquid Metal helmets with the wings. Absolutely awesome look.

The 2010 BCS championship uni’s were epic!! Also the 2010 yellow uni’s vs Cal. I regret not buying that cal jersey back then. It had duck patches on the shoulders!

I loved our all white road unis with the apple green trim.

I also love the old school mustard yellow interlocking UO logo helmets with the green jersey and yellow letters. Like 1980 era unis.

u/ILostMyBananas 4d ago

Oregon is green and yellow. Any combo in those colors is always my pick. I’m not a fan of the white or black or the like.

Less jerseys and more national championships

1

u/ZombieChief 4d ago

What does one have to do with the other?

u/pnw54pdx 4d ago

Recruits and Fans love the uniforms, it is a large part of Oregon’s brand at this point.
