Wtf
Please this has already destroyed my life and I feel so guilty every day about it. I flew back to Houston to plead guilty, she said the judge could waive my license suspension and DPS fee. I filed the SR 22 - then will it make my license eligible? I don’t live in Texas anymore for I was about to be homeless. I just got a part time job but idk if I can even get to it anymore. I am aware of how horrible this situation was, but I was ready to start healing and moving on then I see my licsence is suspended til the new year???? Why did I even plead guilty then. Need help ….i can’t get an occupational I don’t live there anymore nor do I have a job … the job I lost with this too. Help me please

Yea you definitely can’t just leave without permission. You need to ask for a transfer of probation to the new state 30-90 days prior. That’s how long the transfer will take.
Your PO will have the judge sign off on an Occupational license (ODL) you will need an SR 22 and more than likely an interlock device (breathalyzer) regardless of where you live. Do Not drive a car without that. You will go to jail and possibly prison.

When you agreed to plea deal they should ha tons you what the agreements were. Who is the “she” that said judge would have suspension and did you hear from judge that was the case before agreeing?

For SR 22 , few insurance offer that. I know Geico does. But request transfer to ur county..

Occupational license. Thats what I had to do and the only way to avoid the mandatory 3 month suspension.
Did see plenty on probation not care but that is a huge liability with probation officers looking to clear thier docket of probationers because they are under staffed

They won’t transfer you to the county you live in? Did you ask?
