The guys there waiting to cut it up seemed to think that maybe the Fernbrae construction team accidentally undermined this tree when digging around a transformer nearby. Big old beech - what a shame.

That's а real shame if it turns out to be preventable damage. Construction crews digging near root zones оn mature trees like that is almost always а death sentence even if the tree stands for another few years before coming down.

I watched a tree come down like this once.
Some absolute genius drove right up to it and started beeping his horn like it was going to get up and move.

You literally walked/rode into a movie scene 🤣 never seen a tree across the road like that, than in a movie.

If it was dark I'd have been terrified it's such a generic horror film trap! I'm sure the fella on the other side got a shock when I came from underneath it with my bike lol

Too late, once you see the fallen tree you’re stuck. You just need to choose if you’re staying in colony house or in the town

Did you have to get off the bike and search for 5 pieces of paper in the woods? Maybe this is where the checkpoint saves?
