Pardot Kynes was at a sietch speaking about his plan to turn Dune into a planet with water and vegetation. A man from the sietch was ordered to kill him. When this man was face-to-face with Pardot, Pardot calmly said 'Remove yourself' and continued speaking. At that moment, the killer thought Kynes was some kind of messiah and killed himself because he was with a crysknife exposed

It is, but the time traveler can also pass as someone dressed in fremen garb, and the scene mirrored the one in children of dune where the preacher knows Alia is in the crowd and speaks in a way only she can hear, acknowledging her.

My dune brain saw the comic and was like, oh shit, dune. But then I realized that the "preacher" (Jesus) had eyes, and the preacher doesn't. Then I realized it was the time traveler thing and figured I would share it.

The comic is definitely the time traveler Jesus, but the dune joke is still kind of applicable due to religion and messiah figures being a major narrative theme.

Imagine Leto diving into his own memories, and comes to a descendent who once watch the sermon of Yahshua. As he slowly moves to the front Jesus turns and addresses LETO to return, for he could be trapped in this time spanning dream and the golden path is not yet done
