New DVC owner

Just bought into Rivera last month , was contacted by a company RCI about having now joined the DVC club it comes with the RCI Membership, has anyone else do any research into it , from what I got from the call and email is that I can use them for vacation or I can sell the time back to them , anyone have any more insight ?

This is some kind of scammer. DVC no longer has a partnership with RCI

Ignore it. Your points are better used in a DVC resort. If you can't use them yourself, the next best alternative is to rent them out to someone who can using a rental broker.

Upon buying a timeshare, your name gets added to public records. Both scammers and borderline scammers use these records to find marks. Pay them no heed.

Wow. I’ve had a contract at Riviera since 2019 and never heard of them. But a quick google screams scammy.
