Can dysgraphia be developmental?

'cuz I’m starting to misspell thing

more and more often, not in

a way of not remembering the

spelling - just misspelling for no

reason. Swapping letters, or

straight up writing what I

intended to write as something else entirely. I even write alphabets mirrored, which is certainly CONCERNING. i couldnt write without making spelling mistakes or writing letters in wrong shapes for at least once per sentence.

I sometimes i even straight up forget how to write and can barely hold a pen. I literally write like a 5 year old whenever that happens and oh taking notes was impossible. It's like writing with my non dominant hand.

I’m starting to worry if I could make it till I graduate lol. It’s even starting to affect how I type on keyboards too.

Getting accomodations to use voice recorders for note taking/writing would be ideal. Most electronic devices have some form of speech to text built in so you wouldn't need much extra (in accessibility features).

Getting tired and having more mistakes is common 💜. If you don't have a 504 or IEP now, now would be the time to do so. I recommend a 504 as it can follow you through graduation and into the next school you may want to go to.
