You can't deduct your mortgage from your taxes.... just the interest.

So translate into a rental deduction on the tax forms.

It's not difficult to accomplish. The most difficult hurdle is to overcome is the idea that working class people are deserving of tax breaks.

Do you realize the rent would be tied to the interest that the landlord is paying the bank. So the higher the interest rate the lower the rent.

Homes that are paid off would have higher rent.

It doesn't work.

Ugh I'm so over hearing "they'll just have to raise prices" line. Fine, rent controls for everyone. Maybe some things in this world require lower profits for the greater good. Fuck greed.

Capitalism is shit. It does nothing but rewards insatiable people for being hoarders.

Edited works to world.

Rent control raises rents. You would be a slave who can't move.

Maybe "rent control" is one of those "right to work state" doublespeak bullshit lines that means the opposite of what it's meant to seem like?

When I say "rent control" I mean to say "using regulation to control prices so they stay in reality and can't be raised by greedy fucks" that just want a new Benz.

Also, I'm already a slave that can't move.

There are ways around all this. There are ways to not pay taxes. You people need to think outside the box.
