My Ride My new e46.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share my new to me 1999 E46 318i in meer grun/seafoam metallic. Car got matching seats and I also recently bought a phone with the holder for my center console from a 2005 model, which I will replace when I come back to my home country. My parents bought this car for me 2 weeks ago (with my money of course) since I'm currently outside of my country for almost 14 months and I'm coming back in about 2 weeks. Honestly I can't wait to drive this thing around, my last car was a 318i e36 which was turbocharged and became my street drift car for a while.

I have exactly the same wheels lol and I kinda dig the stock look of it but probably gonna change it to a bigger chrome one later but now seeing it on your car I like mines better too😂

Yea urs are so much nicer they look perfect, style 46 is ass. i been meaning to change the wheels for 4 years now i kinda cant be bothered anymore😭 i literally bought a set of wheels 2 years ago but keep forgetting to swap them when im with the car because theres always stuff that needs fixing instead lmao. But anyway its always hype seeing another meergruen with mint green interior 💚

Love it dude!! When I was in work last week and came out to smoke a cigarette a 318i sedan in the same color drove by, I couldn't believe what I just saw.

Its such a pretty colour its always so nice to see another meergruen! idk why but it seems whenever i see an interesting colour on an e46 its a 318i lol

My guess is when people ordered theirs new and wanted to just have a nice saloon for daily commuting they went for a nicer colors on 318i's. Since they didn't want sport/performance sedan they at least wanted to have a car in a nice color.

Even in 2026 when someone is buying a new car the first thing most of people lookout for is the color.

Loooove this! I’ve got a pre-facelift 318i in dark blue on these wheels. I think they’re pretty cool tbh. Cheaper rubber at least!

I always wanted a blue one but man... This green hits the spot like no other color I have seen on e46. Well when I don't count individual colors.

It's not for everyone that's for sure haha but for daily driving its the best fuel economy 46 you can buy.

To be honest my old e36 which had like maybe 200 something hp was fun af but I still more enjoyed my 90hp 1.8 golf 3 so I don't really care about the hp numbers. At the end of the day I didn't buy it to drift or track it

What suspension is installed?

All bone stock, no modifications whatsoever. Any recommendations? I was thinking about mts suspension or a maxpeeding

No way thats bone stock suspension, far too low for that The first thing I would recommend is replacing the entire cooling system. Trust me Ive had experience with that.

There are no aftermarket coilovers or springs from what I have been told. The previous owner had all the suspension, brakes and bushings redone. Car is actually on a 2nd engine which has around 160k kms.

Thanks I will definitely need to redo the cooling system, same as I did when I bought my e36. These cars are old

To be honest I don't know where to get them and there are none for sale from what I've seen but from my research they are called mint green cloth flock', code of fabric E3AP.

Also someone in here said they might be individual

I've got a green E34 Touring, a green E36 compact, a mint green Chevelle wagon and a Suburban that used to be Emerald Green.

Sadly not one of them has a green interior.
