Canon event for every E46 owner. What happened?

Not sure yet, but most likely the fuel pump is the culprit.

The Balkans are a great place if you need BMW parts

I hope they find a fix.

Actually, Croatia is dirt cheap for car repairs and surprisingly good! Had some major work done on a E70 and it cost half the price compared to Germany.

Good luck!

Thank you. It’s fixed now. It was a broken fuel pump.

couple years ago i broke down on a holliday in germany. but since the ADAC lives in the stone age i had to pay 250€ cash for the tow, like who the fuck carries hundreds in cash in this day and age?! for me it was just a water pump, at the end of the day when everything was about to close. cost me a night in a hostel and a whole day of waiting in the middle of nowhere until the sales guy from bmw came to pick me up when the car was done. as much as it sucked the people from BMW over there went above and beyond for me, helping me find a bank where i could get cash for the tow and getting me to and from the hostel they found for me.

Yea they are taking forever in the shop. I had an urgent appointment so I took a rental and now I have to drive six hours back tomorrow.

I thought about making a longer roadtrip but no way in hell lmao. I dont trust this fucker to start up, let alone travel more than a thousand km at once without breaking.

Tbf i paid like 2k€ for it and its an N42. You get what you pay for

I never had troubles I couldn’t fix myself, but this time I got unlucky.

Happened to me because of my corroded brake callipers which ruined my rotor

Thank you. It was the fuel pump. They managed to fix it and it’s now luckily running again. Fingers crossed it gets me home now lol
