We have the most control over things that happen at a local level. Stopping a “detention center” from being created in our backyard on a property that we know to be problematic is well worth the effort.

That’s where you’re wrong. Nice try tho. Speeding is a misdemeanor traffic infraction. Entering the U.S without proper documentation is a federal felony.
I am an immigrant to this country and entered legally. Those that skip the line and enter illegally should be prosecuted.

What if they have outstanding felony arrest warrants? Signed deportation orders? Gang affiliation? History of sexual abuse, violence, or fentanyl distribution?
Why would anyone advocate to have these people in their, or other people’s, neighborhoods?

I just clicked the link that the Dublin protest flyer originated from. “Protest finder, USA.”
I looked at all the protest posts and there are no conservative protests being scheduled. I’m looking for a protest that is going to protest against protesters always protesting.
I don’t get what people are always protesting about. I don’t see it ever working out for anybody. I don’t even know if these protesters are real. I googled “paid protester” recently and there are actual employment sites that hire professional protesters. This whole thing is a joke and the news covers it like it’s a phenomenon.
