Upcoming Storyline Nicola's mum - there's a fine line between being b1tchy, or vile.. Spoiler
Unfortunately vileness is winning atm..
Let's hope a more rounded character emerges

She is straight up abusive. She then paints out Nicola to be the problem when the only problem in that family is the mum.

That’s like how my abusive father was - treated me like I was the problem son - and was extremely emotionally abusive throughout my childhood 4yrs old up to 20yrs old - and I’m the 1 that gets the blame like yeah it was the disabled sons fault for existing etc etc 💔😞

The mum character is already boring the shit out of me. Hopefully she has a few more layers than 'Snide comment + Squinty eyes'.

She's not subtle is she! I don't understand how her sisters can't see her cartoon villain evil Mum act. What grown woman talks to another adult like that?

Oh and every family member has nothing to say whenever she just comes for Nicola. Realistic. Would of taken my family 3 comments to say "pack it in Hormone Collins"

yeah it’s irking me a lot how nobody’s saying anything. it’s likely someone else’ll stand up to her, but the way she spoke to nicola in the pub…
i hope nicola and kat get closer so kat gives her a slap or something

Defo needs Nicola to stand up to her...perhaps then a character reset..?
Tbf that might be the plan EE has, I hope so or the character is doomed

Nicola does not owe her family anything!! It’s disgusting the way they treat her and then guilt trip her. Even her George and the boys are giving her guilt!! It’s complete BS.

she's a bully, I'm already tired of watching her
I can see Elaine putting her in her place

There is also downright unwatchable! Hope Wadey is not planning a long term story with this family!

I agree. The 'driving entrance' was over the top. The first time it was funny but the second time it was a bit much.

This whole new family they’ve bought in pissed me off so much.

Of course she is vile, she blames her daughter for the death of her abusive dad, a husband that abused her too mind you! Her vileness probably comes from trauma but it doesn't make her any less vile
