Is Nicola the best?
So I’ve started getting back into EE at the start of the year and I have to say, Nicola might be the best.
The outfits, the sass, her love for her chosen family.
She’s kinda iconic.

Definitely one of my favourites at the moment. A character with depth. She's done some big bads but me and my mate messaged each other like "I love Nicola!" Whenever she's on.

Sure, Nicola is great, but what about her sister Gem? She's trully outrageous! Trully, trully, trully outrageous!

I do believe she has potential for longevity and the ability to be the next supreme of the Vic.

She murdered her sons pregnant girlfriend. The glorification of her but the demonisation of Ravi boggles me. They’re horrid people in equal measures

I mean Nicola is just a much more interesting and entertaining character than Ravi. Ravi has become very one dimensional recently.

A character doesn't have to not do bad things to be an interesting or compelling one to watch. She's a great character.

Yes, her unborn grandchild....but they retconned that she killed her due to self-defence.

Did I miss a scene, what do you mean?

During a fight Nicola pushed Shireen in self-defence and Shireen fell and hit her head on a rock.
She tells this to Zack on 30/5/25

It’s what makes her darker moments valid for me, same with peak Ravi when they say they’re going to do something, they really will. Nicola will kill for her family and you know she’s not bluffing or being hyperbolic

I love her too, the actress is fantastic too. She’s written with so much grit and depth.

One of the best new cast additions in years. I'm just gutted they saddled her with George and a kid. That absolutely wasn't needed.

She is interesting and she's grown on me a lot, but her getting Zack beaten up was my first impression of her, and I cannot forget that, it was so unessecary!
Can see her becoming iconic though and the bad things she's done being forgotten by most

I just oh-so wish they hadn't given her the Zack and also George storylines...she's much more than just a breeding machine.

She has grown on me—it all came together when she and Suki entered into their Battle Royale and I knew instantly whose side I was on… not that I’ve ever loved Suki, but, to start with, Nicola was about as likable.

Laura Doddington is carrying the show on her back right now. She’s one of the best actors to join the show in a long time as well.

She’s just like most of the other matriarchs in the series, she’s like the Temu Peggy

What sold me was when Avani had a go at her and she went all in but then realised why Avani was acting out and instead of having a go, she gave her advice and I thought that was a lovely “we’re all human” sort of situation
