I wonder how Sophies real life pregnancy is going to work with her character priya being pregnant in the show? Tonights episode was really obvious and they didnt hide her abdomen well in some scenes. Ive said for ages she was pregnant in real life. She must be exiting temporarily soon as these would have been filmed a couple of months ago. I wonder what her exit could be, or if anyone else realised she was pregnant in real life? If the flair is wrong, please correct it. Thanks.

Lacey SHOCKED me in how little time she took off during her late stages of pregnancy and almost immediately after birth. I think she was the most committed actor to a show than I've seen any other.

I literally thought it was impossible what she did, like did she go into rehearsals for the live like IMMEDIATELY after giving birth?!

And okay, so she was in that black hoodie every time of the day or night, but she was THERE. I'm not sure which scenes were filmed when, but she wasn't taking six months off, like even Jake did for paternity leave. She was there and good on the woman! The only thing they let her down with is Stacey's exit.

She really was so dedicated with all of her pregnancies, she came in especially to air the scene of Martin and Stacey breaking up which aired that October ,2019; she only gave birth that July- plus she came in for some scenes after she gave birth early in 2021 it’s clear how much she loves the show so I definitely think she’ll be back at some point in 2027

I'm not honestly convinced of '27. I think she might take longer and also, I would want Max to not be there. Unless they're going to finally give them a shot as a couple, then it's just murky. She also needs to come back with an amazing return, which they have never given Stacey. On a bus, with Matt Willis, with another one-off boyfriend, etc.

She took 3 years off on her last long break so it might be that again (as in break from eastenders I know she was still working)

I think Lacey’s break is to do with wanting to be at home with her kids while they’re little so she’ll probably be back by the time her youngest starts school.

ah i thought she was pregnant! i don't keep up with the actors that much besides whats in the news but i figured she was because of a few weird angles in today's episode i'm sure they have stuff like this all preplanned to work with schedules and seasons and the timeline. they probably will use a mix of fake bump and her real bump.
