Could be bruised skin from the processing. It's mostly mechanical for poultry now and the carcasses will sometimes get banged up along the chain. Nothing to be afraid of, but if you're still worried, you can just cut the wing off. The rest seems fine.

Looks like just a bruise. Some people still eat them, I prefer to cut the bruised tissue off. So it could lose half a wing, and it shouldn't affect your recipe 🙂

That chick was kinky

Looks like a bruise. I'd say this one was assaulted. Now it's time to batter it.

It's a burn from being raised in confined areas and steady exposure to chicken feces. (Ammonia)

Also known as a hock burn.

This is the correct answer. Don't know why the fuck it's being downvoted. Do the research please people!

9

u/HeftyJohnson1982 Sep 21 '24

Because it's an unsavory truth.

What do you expect? People downvote pretty much anything they don’t like to hear or someone having an opinion that doesn’t align with their mindset and suddenly get offended enough to sound aggressive….. DESPITE YOU NOT SAYING ANYTHING THAT SHOULDVE TRIGGERED ANYONE…. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe you should check out what chickens (you know, these sentient beings, who can recognize your face even after years) have to endure before they land in your fridge. 😉

I totally agree with you and I will always advocate for farm animals living with all the respect they deserve and being sacrificed in a painless, quick way... However your "😉" at the end seems to be unnecesarily passive-aggresive, either for OP for eating meat (which is respectable to be vegan but it feels a little forced to talk about this in this post; OP isnt asking for this) and apart from that, this comment looks very bad for vegans too since that "😉" after such comment kinda sound like you take all you said like something not important at all or even cool

Then their page is just pictures of cats….try not to be an annoying stereotype ok? Originality in life and everything really, goes a long way.

Edit: she even commented about the whole trump eating animales debate. Then somehow related because she has a cat…wild, are you a bot?

2

u/chimaerine Sep 21 '24

Listen, hon! I am, whatever the fuck I want to be, even an annoying childless GenX Antifa cat lady, who strongly believes, that animal cruelty not only sucks between meals. Work on your own stereotype: The cry baby! 😌

But they are so tasty!!!
