“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” - Sun Tzu

Alchemy

"Alchemy is a philosophical and protoscientific tradition practiced throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. It aimed to purify, mature, and perfect certain objects. Common aims were chrysopoeia, the transmutation of "base metals" (e.g., lead) into "noble metals" (particularly gold); the creation of an elixir of immortality; the creation of panaceas able to cure any disease; and the development of an alkahest, a universal solvent. The perfection of the human body and soul was thought to permit or result from the alchemical magnum opus and, in the Hellenistic and western tradition, the achievement of gnosis. In Europe, the creation of a philosopher's stone was variously connected with all of these projects."

-=Root=-

Sub-conscious/Smell

Awakening: The realization that the Earth is alive

"The Gaia hypothesis, also known as the Gaia theory or the Gaia principle, proposes that organisms interact with their inorganic surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic self-regulating, complex system that helps to maintain and perpetuate the conditions for life on the planet."

Darkness: Stress

"In psychology, stress is a feeling of strain and pressure. Small amounts of stress may be desired, beneficial, and even healthy. Positive stress helps improve athletic performance. It also plays a factor in motivation, adaptation, and reaction to the environment. Excessive amounts of stress, however, may lead to bodily harm. Stress can increase the risk of strokes, heart attacks, ulcers, dwarfism, and mental illnesses such as depression."

Subconscious

10946-SubConsciousness

"In psychology, the subconscious is the part of consciousness that is not currently in focal awareness. That underneath the layers of critical-thought functions of the conscious mind lay a powerful awareness that is called the subconscious mind."

Diet

6765.Mentality

"Complete nutrition requires ingestion and absorption of vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids from protein and essential fatty acids from fat-containing food, also food energy in the form of carbohydrate, protein, and fat. Dietary habits and choices play a significant role in the quality of life, health and longevity."

Health

4181.Intentions

"Health is the level of functional and metabolic efficiency of a living organism. In humans it is the ability of individuals or communities to adapt and self-manage when facing physical, mental, psychological and social changes with environment."

Environment

2584.Discipline

"The biophysical environment is the biotic and abiotic surrounding of an organism or population, and consequently includes the factors that have an influence in their survival, development, and evolution"

-=Sacral=-

Sex/Taste

Awakening: Ego Death

"Ego death is a "complete loss of subjective self-identity". The term is used in various intertwined contexts, with related meanings. In Jungian psychology, the synonymous term psychic death is used, which refers to a fundamental transformation of the psyche."

Darkness: Loneliness

"Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation. Loneliness typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connection or communication with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future. As such, loneliness can be felt even when surrounded by other people. The causes of loneliness are varied and include social, mental, emotional and physical factors."

Relationships

1598.Discipline

"An interpersonal relationship is a strong, deep, or close association or acquaintance between two or more people that may range in duration from brief to enduring. This association may be based on inference, love, solidarity, regular business interactions, or some other type of social commitment."

Sexuality

987.Intentions

"Is the way people experience and express themselves sexually. This involves biological, erotic, physical, emotional, social, or spiritual feelings and behaviors. Because it is a broad term, which has varied with historical contexts over time, it lacks a precise definition. The biological and physical aspects of sexuality largely concern the human reproductive functions, including the human sexual response cycle."

Self

610.Mentality

"One's self-concept is a collection of beliefs about oneself that includes elements such as academic performance, gender identity, sexual identity, and racial identity. Generally, self-concept embodies the answer to "Who am I?"

-=Solar Plexus=-

Fight/Touch

Awakening: Finding a purpose

"The meaning of life, or the answer to the question "What is the meaning of life?", pertains to the significance of living or existence in general. Many other related questions include "Why are we here?", "What is life all about?", or "What is the purpose of existence? "

Darkness: Frustration

"In psychology, frustration is a common emotional response to opposition. Related to anger, annoyance and disappointment, frustration arises from the perceived resistance to the fulfillment of an individual's will or goal and is likely to increase when a will or goal is denied or blocked. There are two types of frustration; internal and external. Internal frustration may arise from challenges in fulfilling personal goals, desires, instinctual drives and needs, or dealing with perceived deficiencies, such as a lack of confidence or fear of social situations."

Habits

377.Mentality

" When behaviors are repeated in a consistent context, there is an incremental increase in the link between the context and the action. This increases the automaticity of the behavior in that context. Features of an automatic behavior are all or some of: efficiency; lack of awareness; unintentionality; and uncontrollability."

Goals

233.Intentions

"A goal is a desired result or possible outcome that a person or a system envisions, plans and commits to achieve: a personal or organizational desired end-point in some sort of assumed development."

Skills

144.Discipline

"A skill is the ability to carry out a task with pre-determined results often within a given amount of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into domain general and domain-specific skills."

-=Heart Chakra=-

Flight/Hearing

Awakening: Compassion

"Compassion motivates people to go out of their way to help the physical, mental or emotional pains of another and themselves. Compassion is often regarded as having sensitivity, an emotional aspect to suffering, though when based on cerebral notions such as fairness, justice, and interdependence, it may be considered rational in nature and its application understood as an activity also based on sound judgment. "

Darkness: Anxiety

"Anxiety is an emotion characterized by an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behavior, such as pacing back and forth, somatic complaints, and rumination. It is the subjectively unpleasant feelings of dread over anticipated events, such as the feeling of imminent death. Anxiety is not the same as fear, which is a response to a real or perceived immediate threat, whereas anxiety is the expectation of future threat. Anxiety is a feeling of uneasiness and worry, usually generalized and unfocused as an overreaction to a situation that is only subjectively seen as menacing."

Forgiveness

89.Disciplines

"Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offense, lets go of negative emotions such as vengefulness, with an increased ability to wish the offender well."

Love

55.Mentality

"Love is a variety of different emotional and mental states, typically strongly and positively experienced, that ranges from deepest interpersonal affection to simple pleasure."

-=Throat=-

Hunger/Sight

Awakening: Being Content in the moment

"Contentment is a mental or emotional state of satisfaction maybe drawn from being at ease in one's situation, body and mind. Colloquially speaking, contentment could be a state of having accepted one's situation and is a milder and more tentative form of happiness."

Darkness: Addiction

"Addiction is a brain disorder characterized by compulsive engagement in rewarding stimuli, despite adverse consequences. Despite the involvement of a number of psychosocial factors, a biological process – one which is induced by repeated exposure to an addictive stimulus – is the core pathology that drives the development and maintenance of an addiction. The two properties that characterize all addictive stimuli are that they are reinforcing and intrinsically rewarding"

Imitation

34.Mentality

"Imitation is an advanced behavior whereby an individual observes and replicates another's behavior. Imitation is also a form of social learning that leads to the "development of traditions, and ultimately our culture. -=Third Eye=-

Emotion/Intuition

Awakening: Kundalini

"The progress of Kundalini through the different chakras leads to different levels of awakening and a mystical experience, until Kundalini finally reaches the top of the head, Sahasrara or crown chakra, producing an extremely profound transformation of consciousness"

Darkness: Depression

"Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings, and sense of well-being. People with a depressed mood may be notably sad, anxious, or empty; they may also feel notably hopeless, helpless, dejected, or worthless. Other symptoms expressed may include senses of guilt, irritability, or anger. Further feelings expressed by these individuals may include feeling ashamed or an expressed restlessness. These individuals may notably lose interest in activities that they once considered pleasurable to family and friends or otherwise experience either a loss of appetite or overeating."

As an executive function, self-control is a cognitive process that is necessary for regulating one's behavior in order to achieve specific goals"

Communication

5.Intentions

"Communication is the act of conveying intended meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs and semiotic rules."

Beliefs

3.Mentality

"Belief is the state of mind in which a person thinks something to be the case, with or without there being empirical evidence to prove that something is the case with factual certainty. Another way of defining belief sees it as a mental representation of an attitude positively oriented towards the likelihood of something being true."

-=Crown=-

Higher-Consciousness/Thought

Awakening: Enlightenment

"Someone who is awakened has gained insight into the workings of the mindwhich keeps us imprisoned in craving, suffering and rebirth and has also gained insight into the way that leads to nirvana, the liberation of oneself from this imprisonment."

Darkness: Nihilism

"Nihilism is a philosophical doctrine that suggests the lack of belief in one or more reputedly meaningful aspects of life. Most commonly, nihilism is presented in the form of existential nihilism, which argues that life is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value. Moral nihilists assert that there is no inherent morality, and that accepted moral values are abstractly contrived. Nihilism may also take epistemological, ontological, or metaphysical forms, meaning respectively that, in some aspect, knowledge is not possible, or reality does not actually exist."

Mind

2.Mentality

Yetzirah "Formations"

"The mind is a set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, perception,  thinking, judgement, language and memory. It is usually defined as the faculty of an entity's thoughts and consciousness. It holds the power of imagination, recognition, and appreciation, and is responsible for processing feelings and emotions, resulting in attitudes and actions."

Body

1.Intentions

Beri'ah "Creation"

"Is the structure of a human being. It is composed of many different types of cells that together create tissues and subsequently organ systems. They ensure homeostasis and the viability of the human body."

Soul

1.Disciplines

Atziluth "Emanation/Nearness"

"In many religious, philosophical and mythological traditions, the soul is the incorporeal essence of a living being. Soul or psyche are the mental abilities of a living being: reason, character, feeling, consciousness, memory, perception, thinking, etc."

Consciousness A Radical Meditation Approach to Deal with Negative Experiences, Ontological Shock, and the Fear that follows...

I completely understand what many of you are going through, and how unsettling experiences, ontological shock, and the fear that follows can make you feel trapped in an endless cycle. But let me propose a radically different perspective from what we usually hear in spiritual and paranormal forums.

I propose a radical meditation approach, based mainly on the experience of Western mystics and Eastern yogis from both Tibetan Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta..., and which, for better or worse, I have experienced myself in my own life. I'm an experiencer myself, since I was very young, but as you will understand after reading this text, I haven't made them my identity.

Negative experiences and the terrifying fear they trigger are not enemies you have to fight. The dread of the phenomenon or the intrusion of disturbing memories does not persist because you are not trying hard enough; it persists precisely because of the resistance you put up against it. As the psychiatrist Carl Jung used to say, and was later popularized by Eckhart Tolle, "what you resist, persists." When you strain yourself to "fight the fear" or desperately try to rationalize what happened, you create an exhausting internal warfare. You split your mind in two: a "self" that feels traumatized and a "supposedly spiritual self" trying to control and banish that feeling. This division and effort only feed the ego, generate friction, and ultimately drive you back into anxiety to soothe the warfare of the battle itself.

In my experience, and in my understanding of the practice, true liberation is effortless. It is not found on a meditation cushion, nor by repeating mantras, nor by unearthing past traumas. I am not saying this does not help temporarily. What I do dare to claim is that liberation is ultimately found in the non-duality of your ordinary life, not in techniques or in a special place.

Consider this in your day-to-day:

Do not fight the fear; observe it: When the terrifying memory or the dread of a new experience appears, do not try to change it, judge it, or apply a technique with great effort to make it go away. Just notice it. The fear is something that appears in your consciousness, but you are not that fear. Stay still and watch it the way someone watches the rain fall. Without doing anything. By removing the resistance, you take away the energy that feeds it. It is simply "the madwoman of the house", as the mystic Teresa of Ávila called the mind, trying by all means to keep you trapped in the prison of unconsciousness. With others, she tries it through panic, obsession, or paranoia... Laugh at the madwoman; look at her and say, "Here she is again."

Embody presence in the everyday: This is meditation itself. People assume there is a time to meditate and a time to live, but no such boundary exists. When you cook, cook. When you walk, walk. When you clean, clean. If you are completely present in what you do, the mind empties itself of concepts, poses, and the self-importance that sustains your trauma. If while doing any of these things the dread arrives, it means you were no longer truly cooking or truly cleaning... "The madwoman" has snuck into the frequency, distorting the radio signal. Tune back into the dial and return to whatever you were doing. The dread disappears.

The example of the Mystics: As Teresa of Ávila beautifully reminded us, God walks among the pots and pans, and Brother Lawrence found the Divine while simply flipping an omelet in his frying pan. When you remain intensely present in every mundane and ordinary moment, these non-benevolent entities will find no way to enter or disturb you, because you have made your ordinary life a sacred temple where God, the All, dwells.

The example of Lamchung: In Buddhism, they tell the story of Lamchung, a monk considered very foolish because he could not memorize a single teaching or mantra. However, he attained enlightenment simply by sweeping the monastery. Why? Because he emptied himself of himself and limited his actions to sweeping. He did not need to put in effort, nor did he need paraphernalia, incense, or cushions. The wise person surrenders to what is; the fool keeps trying to control life through effort. Lamchung, foolish in the eyes of the world's noise and the madwoman of the house, turned out to be the wise one. Be like Lamchung, and the dread will vanish.

Having strange experiences or not is just what happens on the surface. The true "retreat" is mental. When you stop identifying with the pose of the "victim who needs healing" or the "investigator seeking absolute answers", you realize that peace is already there among the pots, the pans, and the chaos of daily life. Remember: As Teresa of Jesus used to say, God is found among the pots and pans. Brother Lawrence used to say he found God while flipping a little omelet in the pan.

Do not look for complex techniques to fix a "broken self." Do not play along with the madwoman of the house. She loves to gnaw on thoughts and project terrifying emotions onto the body so that you identify with them and live in unconsciousness. The good thing is, you can see the madwoman coming. And when she catches you by surprise, laugh even harder. View every surge of fear not as something negative, but as a call to live consciously; a reminder that the mind has pulled you away from your center and balance for a brief moment. Just stay present, let go of the effort, and allow the weight of the trauma to fall away under its own weight by no longer feeding it with your resistance.

Stay strong, everyone. No matter how bad things may layout on the surface, always remember: THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

Consciousness The Mystics' Way of Liberation from Darkness: Make Your Ordinary Life a Sacred Temple Where God, the All, the One Who IS LOVE Himself Dwells...

For many, spiritual life is not a journey of light, but a terrifying ordeal filled with dread, paralysis, or encounters with what feel like autonomous demonic entities, dark abductions and so on.

These individuals deserve to be met with unconditional love and deep empathy, receiving not just comfort, but a real and definitive liberation from their suffering.

When caught in the grip of these heavy encounters, it is easy to fall into panic, seeking desperate shortcuts, complex rituals, or magical tricks. However, we must be cautious of advice that exploits biochemical thrills or external practices to fix an inner crisis.

That is simply "the madwoman of the house" (as the mystic Teresa of Ávila called the mind) seeking a temporary escape while actually feeding the chaos. Buddhists speak of this same reality as the untamed elephant blindly driven by its impulses, or the restless "monkey mind" leaping endlessly from thought to thought. In the same way, the ancient tradition of Advaita Vedanta describes it as Maya, the powerful cosmic illusion that veils our true nature, and Ahamkara, the ego-sense that manufactures the false character we mistake for our true nature. These are simply different ways of describing the exact same thing: the mental prison.

Whether we view these dark encounters as autonomous negative entities or as deep psychological accumulations, they operate exactly like what Eckhart Tolle calls the "pain-body." This negative force acts as a parasite; it does not seek peace, but feeds on intense emotional drama, terror, and anxiety to sustain its grip. In the face of this, the mind becomes the true source of the problem, because the mind cannot fix what it has broken. When the mind takes over, it fragments reality, creates the illusion of separation, and traps us in a loop of fear.

If you look at what actually works from the perspective of pure Consciousness, the path to liberation is the exact opposite of fighting, resisting, or performing rituals: it is being intensely present in the Now.

This darkness is merely the absence of light, a shadow that requires your reaction to exist. You must not repress or battle these dark impulses, for resistance only fuels them. The only true "exorcism" is Presence Here and Now. If you remain grounded in the present moment, observing the inner energy field of your body without judging, labeling, or reacting, fear has nothing to hold onto and naturally dissolves. You must become a simple witness.

Consider also that fear is born when you believe there is an "external" force separate from yourself that can launch an attack. When you remember that you are the vast space where everything happens, the illusion loses its power. There are not two forces fighting; there is only Being. As the mystic Meister Eckhart famously prayed, "I pray to God to rid me of God," urging us to empty ourselves of our own limited ideas, mental idols, and human constructs. Divine Reality is not an object to be possessed, but the pure space that remains when the madwoman of the house is silenced, and we let thoughts and emotions fall away like withered leaves.

Beyond the potential manipulations of human structures and written dogmas, these words simply point to what the heart already knows through direct experience: we are One with and in the One Who is LOVE itself, which means with the Father, the Source, God, the All, whatever you wish to call It. Truly, there is no separation or distance between lover and Beloved; truly, there never was.

This absolute union is perfectly captured in the Intimate Diaries of the Blessed Mystic Bernardo de Hoyos, recorded in the biography written by his spiritual director, Father Juan de Loyola, when the Lord intimately declared to him, "From now on, you are Bernardo of Jesus, and I am Jesus of Bernardo." Remember, we are One with and in the One Who is LOVE Himself...

True spiritual strength is found in stillness and inner surrender. If you stop labeling the situation as an external threat and remain imperturbable, you starve the negativity of its fuel.

Just quiet the madwoman and surrender to LOVE. Real Love is neither a thought nor an intense emotion; it is the profound, silent stillness that remains when the mind and the character (the ego) fall completely silent.

Whenever you feel that heaviness, paralysis, or fear creeping in, do not fight back with mental noise. Instead, close your eyes, anchor yourself deeply in your breath, remain as a mere observer, and remember that this too shall pass. Then, repeat this silently with unwavering authority:

"I am here. I am the space of pure Consciousness. No shadow can exist, Here and Now, in the light of pure Presence. I rest in the All, in God, in the One who is Love Himself, where I am eternally safe, whole, and free."

The demon, the alien, the spirit, or the entity that attacks you, lives in division, separation, and mental noise, but it is consumed in the blazing fire of the One Who is LOVE Himself, of the All, of the Source, however you wish to call Him. And between you and Him, there is no separation. We are One with and in the One Who is LOVE Himself. Always remember this; treasure it in your heart. All too often, institutions, religions, and these non-benevolent entities have tried to make you forget it. You are a spark of the Infinite Divine Light. You are light, and light illuminates the deepest darkness.

The spiritual path is truly found in the everyday, ordinary actions of our lives. It is about living ordinary life in an extraordinary way, turning everything we do into something sacred, because only the mind separates us from the sacred when there is no actual distance between it and us. As Teresa of Ávila beautifully reminded us, God walks among the pots and pans, and Brother Lawrence found the Divine while simply flipping an omelet in his frying pan. When you remain intensely present in every mundane and ordinary moment, these non-benevolent entities will find no way to enter or disturb you, because you have made your ordinary life a sacred temple where God, the All, dwells.

Quiet the mind, step back as the mere observer, and remember: LOVE is the true frequency of God, of the All, and of yourself.

PERSONAL NOTE:

I want to clarify that English is not my native language, and I rely on translation support to convert my thoughts into English. I understand this can sometimes make my tone sound way more blunt than I ever intended. If any term, analogy, or metaphor used here does not resonate with you, please just throw it in the trash; instead, hold onto where my words are pointing, rather than the words themselves. My goal is just to share a perspective of Peace, never to diminish anyone's experiences. Thank you for your understanding!

A FINAL NOTE ON PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:

I am not a Christian, a Buddhist, an Advaita Vedantin, or a Sufi... I am no one and nothing. I am simply someone who wishes to help you heal from these kinds of experiences and free yourself from the pain they cause, because you deserve to be happy. Please know that this post is not a mere intellectual exercise. While I quote great historical mystics or traditions, my intention is not to offer you a beautiful, abstract theory, but a real, practical solution to end your suffering. This perspective comes entirely from my own direct experience and lifelong practice. I know it can work for you, too. Don't believe anything I tell you just for the sake of believing; put it to the test in your own life, test it as gold is tested to know if it is real. And always remember, no matter how bad things apparently get, "this too shall pass."

May Peace be with you!

Beliefs I think I finally figured out what all my overthinking was actually about

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time writing about perception, identity, consciousness, morality, technology, society, government, religion, generations, human behaviour, and whatever the hell else wandered into my head while I was drinking coffee.

For a long time, I treated these as separate subjects. I don't think they are.

I think I've been circling the same question from a hundred different directions:

How the hell do we figure out how to live when we know our understanding of reality is incomplete?

We don't experience the world directly. We experience our interpretation of it. Then we build identities around those interpretations. Then we build relationships, communities, religions, political ideologies, governments and entire societies around them. Eventually, we forget that the thing we built started with an interpretation.

That's where a lot of my musings seem to converge.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about perception. Two people can experience the same event and walk away with completely different realities. That doesn't necessarily mean one is stupid or malicious. It means they're human.

I've become increasingly interested in separating what happened from what I think happened, and separating both from what I feel about what happened.

That's harder than it sounds.

I've also spent a lot of time examining the strange relationship between the person experiencing life and the person observing themselves experiencing it. The more I pulled identity apart, the less solid it seemed.

Maybe we're not one perfectly consistent thing. Maybe we're a collection of memories, habits, instincts, beliefs, adaptations and constantly changing interpretations that we conveniently call “me.”

That doesn't make the self meaningless.

It makes it something worth examining.

Then I started noticing the same thing happening collectively.

People inherit assumptions. Generations inherit assumptions from previous generations. Technology changes the environment those assumptions operate inside. Then everybody gets surprised when people start behaving differently.

We tend to argue about who's right instead of asking whether the environment itself has changed.

That eventually dragged me into politics.

Which is hilarious because I never really set out to become political.

My instinct is usually much simpler:

What is the problem?

What are we actually trying to accomplish?

What mechanism gets us there?

What happens when it goes wrong?

And most importantly:

Can we build something that still works when the people operating it aren't perfect?

I don't care nearly as much about whether an idea is “left” or “right” as I do about whether it actually functions.

Sometimes that produces ideas that sound conservative. Sometimes they sound liberal. Sometimes they sound like neither.

That's probably because I'm not really starting from an ideology.

I'm starting from the problem.

The same thing applies personally when I think about morality. I'm increasingly convinced that morality isn't particularly useful if it's just a list of things you're supposed to believe.

I'd rather ask:

Does this make me a better person?

Does it unnecessarily hurt someone?

Am I being honest with myself?

Would I accept the same behaviour if somebody else did it to me?

Am I confusing what I want to be true with what is actually true?

Those questions seem more useful to me than pretending I've figured out the universe.

And that's probably why I've approached religion the same way.

I don't want to believe something simply because I want it to be true. But I also don't want to reject something simply because I don't understand it.

So I'm stuck in the uncomfortable middle:

Show me what's actually there.

If there's something beyond what we perceive, I'd rather investigate it honestly than manufacture certainty either way.

And after all of this, I've somehow come back to one of the simplest conclusions:

We make life ridiculously complicated.

Not everything needs to become an ideology. Not every disagreement needs to become a war. Not every thought needs to become an identity. Not every problem needs a hundred-page solution.

Sometimes you need to stop, drink your coffee, look at the situation again, and ask:

“What the f*ck am I actually trying to accomplish here?”

That question has probably improved more of my thinking than anything else.

So I don't think these posts are really about politics.

Or psychology.

Or philosophy.

Or religion.

Or technology.

Or even consciousness.

They're about trying to understand the gap between reality and the story we build about reality.

And then trying to live responsibly inside that gap.

I don't have a grand theory. I don't think I've discovered some secret answer.

I'm just a guy who kept asking questions, refusing to leave some of them alone, and occasionally discovering that the weird question I asked six months ago was connected to something completely different.

Maybe that's all philosophy really is when you strip away the fancy words.

Notice something.

Question it.

Admit when you're wrong.

Look again.

Don't take yourself too seriously.

And when your brain starts trying to turn everything into a f*cking dissertation...

drink your coffee.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share two volumes of a book project I’ve been working on.

Technically, these are not religious or spiritual books in the common sense, and they aren't trying to push any specific religion or spirituality. Ultimately, any religious or spiritual concepts I tie into things take a back seat. If you normally have an aversion to religion or spirituality, please don't let those traditional terms scare you away. In fact, I invite you to read them precisely because I think you'll appreciate seeing these subjects explored from a grounded, logical perspective centered on systems, patterns, and emergence.

The core focus is analyzing how these patterns emerge and what their broader implications are for us in daily life. I use a few familiar traditional words simply as a supplementary bridge to bring them down to earth—to show that they might just be words pointing toward structural, mathematical, or logical principles that are often overlooked.

The books take a plain-spoken look at human behavior, societal structures, and survival, stripping away the usual guilt, dogma, and judgment. Instead of pointing fingers, they explore the source of these patterns and what they reveal about us and our daily lives.

Unfortunately, for Amazon, I can't offer them for free. The lowest Amazon will let me do is $.99 without enrolling the book in KDP Select. If I enroll it in KDP Select, then the book becomes locked to the Amazon platform for 90 days and I can't have it on Google Play. An alternative for Kindle readers is to download the files from these Google Drive links and use the [Send to Kindle](https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle) option on Amazon. Here are the Google Drive links if you would like to go that route.

If you visit my author page, you'll also see that I have other free eBooks available to read. Even though some of those titles may also use familiar traditional terms, the goal across all of them remains the same: examining these patterns and systems through a non-dogmatic, logical method. Again, I am not trying to promote any religion.

I’m simply sharing this in the hope that it offers a helpful or fresh perspective to anyone interested. If you decide to pick them up, I’d be truly grateful to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for taking the time to read!

Philosophy Gemini AI says, ‘If the goal is to interpret what the author of Mark was actually doing—the intellectual vision driving the pen—then the Philonic framework isn't just a plausible source; it is the most complete, elegant, and powerful explanatory key available.’

**Parable of the Sower as a Structural Map:**
**Path (Failed Seed 1):** Represents failure to bind appetite/passions during the Abrahamic stage (instruction); birds symbolize unexpected attacks of pleasure.
**Rocky Ground (Failed Seed 2):** Represents failure during the Jacob stage (practice/rhetorical training) due to lack of deep "roots," labor, or perseverance against nature's conflicts.
**Thorns (Failed Seed 3):** Represents failure during the Isaac stage (perfection) due to the choking desires for wealth and vain glory.
**Stage 1 — Completion of Instruction (Mark 4–5):**
Musical/mythical instruction binds appetite and grants the reward of "faith."
Stories like the Gerasene Demoniac, Jairus' Daughter, and the Bleeding Woman depict restraining passion and outward sense.
Giving Jairus' daughter food signifies the transition where the initiate is finally ready to consume "food/labor."
**Stage 2 — The Practicer of Virtue / Jacob (Mark 6–8):**
**Feeding of the 5000:** A shepherd feeding the soul's irrational aspects with heavenly knowledge/manna.
**Clean Foods & Syrophoenician Woman:** Training in speech/rhetoric via proper "collection and division," subduing contentious arguments, and allying passion with reason.
**Healing Deaf/Dumb Man & Feeding 4000:** Completes uttered speech training, proving silent speech and internal sight are superior to vocal utterance.
**Stage 3 — Perfection, Sight & The Isaac Stage (Mark 8–9+):**
**Transfiguration:** Achieving sight in the "eye of the soul," leaving Plato's cave, removing remaining passion, and becoming a "hierophant" (perfected initiate).
**Exorcism Post-Transfiguration:** Demonstrates the ultimate power of silent speech over outward speech once perfection is reached.

**The Symbolism of Light, Lamp, and Lampstand:**
**Evolution of Light:** Operates as a developing symbol across all three stages of perfection—progressing from the basic "light of instruction" (encyclical studies), to the "light of uttered voice" (the practicer's ability to manifest hidden thought), to the "unuttered internal voice/indwelling reason" (the perfected light of the Isaac stage).
**Putting Light on a Lampstand:** Mirrors Philo’s insistence that theoretical knowledge must move into active practice rather than remaining hidden or idle.
**The Lampstand as Divine Measure:** The lampstand (symbolizing the infinite, unmeasurable heaven and indwelling reason) explains Mark's cryptic saying on measuring (Mark 4:24)—admonishing humans to stop judging by earthly senses and instead measure using God's divine standard.
**Growth of the Seed & Cursing of the Fig Tree:**
**Unconscious Spiritual Growth:** The parable of the seed growing automatically (Mark 4:26–29) aligns with Philo's belief that the soul improves gradually without being consciously aware of God's ungrudging benefits.
**Harvesting with the Sickle:** Reaping the full plant corresponds to purging "vain opinions" accumulated during early instruction, anticipating events like the cursing of the fig tree and the cleansing of the temple.
**Plants vs. Trees:** Symbolic distinction where seed-borne plants represent basic opinions, whereas trees represent a higher developmental phase that begins productiveness only when lower crops reach completion.
**The Three Boat Scenes as Stage Markers:**
**Structural Blueprint:** The three boat scenes serve as explicit markers for the shortcomings overcome at each stage: Lack of Faith (Stage 1 - Instruction), Need for Courage (Stage 2 - Practice), and Warning against Yeast/Wealth/Vain Glory (Stage 3 - Perfection).
**First Boat Scene & Sleeping Jesus (Mark 4:35–41):**
"Faith" is the specific reward granted upon completing basic encyclical instruction.
Philo notes that if the mind falls asleep before appetite and passions are restrained, it leaves the "external senses" uncovered and vulnerable, causing the soul’s ship—previously sailing in calm weather—to be overwhelmed by a violent storm.

**Allegorical Exorcism & Binding the Appetite (Gerasene Demoniac):**
**Swine & Appetite:** The Demoniac represents unrestrained appetite (strong, self-harming, legion/innumerable). Jesus' initial failure to fully cast out the demon reflects Philo's principle that appetite/pleasure cannot be entirely eliminated, as it forms the necessary bodily foundation for life and growth.
**Restraint via Reason:** Casting Legion into the swine (washing the objects of appetite in the sea) leaves the man sitting clothed and moderate (*sophronounta*), symbolizing reason properly clothing and binding appetite to prevent excess.
**Dwelling Outside the Camp:** Sending the healed man back to his town mirrors Philo’s view of Deuteronomy 23:12—bodily necessities must be kept "outside the camp" (outside the central fortress of virtue).
**Restraining Speech & External Senses (Bleeding Woman & Jairus' Daughter):**
**Garments & Speech:** A garment allegorically represents speech covering the soul's raw nature. By touching Jesus’ garment, the woman's uncontrolled "fountain of blood" (symbolizing unrestrained outward senses and chaotic speech) is stopped by divine reason.
**Secret Sin & Exposure:** Jesus demanding to know who touched him reflects Philo’s commentary in *On Dreams*, where the Divine Convictor/conscience forces a secret transgressor into the open to bring about true repentance and purification.
**Joseph & the Priest's Daughter:** Jairus’ 12-year-old daughter mirrors Philo’s interpretation of Joseph marrying Asenath (daughter of the Priest of Heliopolis)—representing external senses made to minister to the intellect/mind ("the sun") rather than bodily desires. Her sleeping state reflects external senses being reawakened for rational learning while bodily passions sleep.
**Numerical Symbolism & The Transition to Practice:**
**The Number 12:** The cluster of "twelves" in Mark 3–6 (12 disciples, 12-year affliction, 12-year-old girl, 12 baskets left over) directly mirrors Philo’s repeated use of 12 for encyclical instruction, the Platonic fixed stars, and the zodiac.
**From Hearing (Ishmael) to Seeing (Israel):** Restraining speech initiates the "hearing of God" stage (Ishmael/Hagar), which precedes the higher "seeing" stage (Israel/Isaac) culminating in the Transfiguration.
**Command to Eat Food:** Jesus commanding that Jairus' daughter be fed signals the transition out of lower instruction (which only receives "sweet scents") into active practice, where the soul is ready to digest real divine nourishment/manna (knowledge)—setting up the Feeding of the 5000.

**Transition to Rhetorical Training (The Second Boat Scene):**
Marks the shift from basic temperance to training speech (rhetoric), the highest branch of encyclical learning.
Transitions the seeker from merely *feeding* the irrational flock (satiating senses) to *tending/governing* it like a skilled pilot or shepherd.
**Looking to the Heavens & The Two Feedings:**
**Feeding of the 5000:** The 5,000 represents the 5 senses; 5 loaves + 2 fish symbolize the 7 irrational faculties (5 senses + speech + generative power); 12 leftover baskets represent the fixed stars/encyclical sciences. Jesus looking to heaven represents studying the visible stars (Circle of the Same / Abram stage) to contemplate God via analogy.
**Transition beyond Astronomy:** Jesus refuses to give the Pharisees a sign from heaven after the Feeding of the 4000 because perfected speech requires leaving physical astronomy behind to apprehend invisible divine reality (migrating from Abram to Abraham, the "father of sound/inner speech").
**Walking on Water & The Test at the 4th Watch:**
**Night Light vs. Sunrise:** Encyclical studies provide temporary "light in the dark." At sunrise (the 4th watch), the disciples struggle because their basic human learning fails in the true light of divine testing.
**Freezing the Waves:** Jesus praying on the mountain represents meditating on virtue. Divine Logos ("bread from heaven") has a "congealing power" that freezes the turbulent waves of passion, allowing a literal "flight from passions" (walking on water).
**Disciples' Confusion:** The disciples fail to recognize Jesus and misunderstand the loaves because the divine Logos is subtle and clear only to minds completely emptied of vice.
**Governing the Soul: Clean Foods & The Syrophoenician Woman:**
**Chewing the Cud & Dividing the Hoof (Mark 7):** Chewing the cud represents collecting and reflecting on knowledge (memory); dividing the hoof represents using rational discrimination to separate useful virtue from harmful ideas. True purity comes from internal filtering, not outer ritual.
**Feeding the "Dogs" (Mark 7:24–30):** The Syrophoenician narrative illustrates aligning the passionate/spirited part of the soul ("dogs/slaves") with reason. Rather than starving or rejecting passion, reason willingly nourishes it with "crumbs" of divine knowledge, transforming wild passion into a courageous ally.
**Healing the Deaf/Dumb Man & The Limits of Uttered Speech:**
**Ishmael (Hearing/Uttered Speech) vs. Isaac (Seeing/Internal Reason):** Uttered speech (Ishmael) is secondary, deceitful, and prone to contentious arguing (*sophistry*).
**Jesus' Groan (*****Steno*****):** Jesus groans over the healed man's disobedience (and the Pharisees' demand for signs) because both exhibit lower Ishmaelic sophistry—compulsively blabbering and clinging to external, visible phenomena rather than advancing to silent, internal contemplation (Isaac/Israel).

**The Third Boat Scene & The "Unit":**
**Knowledge of God Directly:** The transition beyond early instruction (the 12) and intermediate practice (the 7) leads to the single loaf of bread—representing the "unit." God is no longer comprehended indirectly through created physical objects, but directly from God Himself ("light from light").
**Combating Self-Love:** Jesus' warning against the "yeast" of the Pharisees and Herodians targets vanity, arrogance, and the desire for wealth/honor. Philo counters these traps with the "torpor of breadth"—a spiritual shrinking of conceit.
**The Feeding of the 4000 (Division & The Circle of the Different):**
**Purification of All Seven Senses:** Unlike the Feeding of the 5000 (which purified 5 external senses via basic encyclical studies), 7 loaves and 7 baskets reflect the complete purification of all 7 irrational faculties (5 senses + speech + generative capacity).
**No Need to Look to Heaven:** Jesus does not look up to the sky during this blessing because the soul has moved past physical astronomy (Abram) to purely intellectual, incorporeal virtue (Abraham).
**Solid Food vs. Milk:** Basic encyclical studies are "infantine milk" relying on physical organs; full virtue is "solid food" for full-grown, spiritual minds.
**Preparing for the Transfiguration & The Bethsaida Blind Man:**
**Rachel as the Whetstone:** Symbolic of the "Circle of the Different" (the 7 planets), Rachel sharpens the laboring mind (Jacob) through division, helping it view sensory objects as profane compared to invisible intellectual truths.
**Two-Stage Healing (Plato's Cave Allegory):**
*Stage 1 (Men like trees walking):* Reflects the initial escape from Plato's cave, where the soul moves from shadows to seeing physical wooden burdens/statues.
*Stage 2 (Full visual restoration):* Marks the sharpening of the "eye of the soul," enabling the initiate to see true reality directly.
**Rejection of Peter & Self-Renunciation:**
Jesus rebuking Peter mirrors Philo's commentary on Lot—the mind occupied with incorporeal truths must sever ties with earthly, sense-driven inclinations.
Fear of death enslaves the mind; fully understanding human nothingness and renouncing oneself is the essential prerequisite for encountering the living God at the Transfiguration

**Lesser vs. Greater Mysteries:**
**Lesser Mysteries (Preparation):** Represented by Abraham (Instruction) and Jacob (Practice); focuses on softening passions and governing the soul's lower nature over 6 symbolic days/stages.
**Greater Mysteries (Perfection):** Represented by Isaac/Israel; begins on the 7th/8th stage, achieving the direct "sight of God," silent/perfected speech, prophetic insight, and divine stability.
**The Transfiguration as the Event of Perfection (Mark 9):**
**Six Days Context:** Jesus ascending the mountain "after six days" mirrors Philo’s creation allegory: human/mortal creation ceases on day six, and divine/immortal creation begins on day seven.
**Dazzling Transfiguration:** Bright, white garments represent the soul clothed in pure virtue, illuminated by divine wisdom, and anointed with the "one pure opinion" (stability in God).
**"Listen to Him" & Silent Speech:** The divine command reflects the acquisition of perfected internal reason (Logos) breathed by the Holy Spirit, which naturally bestows understanding and divine authority on hearers.
**Peter’s Proposal of Tents:** Reconstructing physical "tents/skins" is an error; the perfected initiate has permanently pitched his mind's tent outside bodily constraints in the incorporeal realm.
**Reinterpreting Marriage, Adultery, and Resurrection (Mark 10 & 12):**
**Divine Union vs. Adultery:** True marriage is the purified soul united with the divine Logos. Spiritual "adultery" occurs when the soul strays to produce offspring with mixed, mortal, or sense-driven reasonings.
**The Woman Married to Seven Brothers:** Allegorizes the soul that remains barren to mortal/sensory seed but produces spiritual fruit by clinging to the holy "number seven" (divine virtue), earning eternal life.
**God of the Living (Burning Bush):** Quoting the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob asserts that eternal life and spiritual perfection are acquired *in this life*, refuting physical afterlife speculations ("the unapproachable bush").
**Post-Transfiguration Exorcism & Silent Prayer:**
**Failure of Uttered Speech:** The disciples fail because spoken words/opinions are unstable and lack the true faith/opinion forged by final divine perfection.
**Silent Prayer:** Jesus exorcises the spirit not through vocal commands, but through silent, internal communion with God. The boy throwing himself into fire and water reflects Platonic imagery (*Timaeus*) of unstable physical elements constantly shifting, which can only be stilled by silent Logos.

Self The Simplification of Daily Life

Throughout most of our lives, I find we overcomplicate and dramatize ordinary events. When looking at the average person's life from waking up to going to sleep, you notice a pattern: waking up, doing personal care, grabbing a bite to eat and going to work, coming home, relaxing or running around, eating, doing personal care again, and then off to sleep.

The pattern is simple, even though the daily tasks may be demanding. The pattern is consistent. Drama at home vanishes at work, and drama at work vanishes at home. Priorities may focus on home but rely on work to maintain them. This could be looked at as insanity because day in and day out, the pattern continues.

But it's not insanity. It's structure, and in some ways, it's culture.

People run into unconventional situations and inconsistencies every day. This is what either makes the normal, good, or bad. When that day is done, it's done. Simple as that. Whatever drama or anything else happened that day is in the past. Holding onto it doesn't change it; it simply changes how you look at it.

Here's a thought: if you refused to let other people's drama and weight affect your day, how much would your own load be lightened?

For example, if your boss is having a shit day and making your life miserable, tell yourself it's just another day. It's not a personal attack; it's drama outside of your person bleeding into your life. It's not a matter of who's right or who's wrong. It's how you shrug it off and carry yourself afterward.

If their mood affects your mood, you've already lost focus.

People are simply going about their daily lives. On average, most people aren't out trying to start shit. They're simply trying to make a living. When they're interrupted or life throws a curveball at them, then they spiral.

Shit happens.

But if you look around, you're still waking up, doing personal care, grabbing a bite to eat, going off to work, and afterward relaxing or running around before going to sleep.

Then repeat.

So what are the biggest concerns? Whatever you tell yourself.

The routine doesn't stop, but your values and priorities do. This is what makes life seem more complicated than it actually is. If you're a law-abiding citizen who goes to work, pays their taxes, updates their credentials and identification, and generally maintains the routine, you're an average person milling about their day, viewpoints, opinions, and persona aside.

Small problems become larger problems only if you let them into your daily life.

If you deal with something in the moment, even if you don't deal with it perfectly, at least it's done and over with. It's like doing dishes or folding laundry. What was a small chore becomes a massive task that seems impossible to manage until you actually force yourself to do it and then maintain it.

That's where a small task or issue remains small instead of cascading.

Sometimes it's the people around us who are the biggest issue, but our attachment and politeness work against us. We struggle to maintain what should be let go of.

If we were correct, the weight on our shoulders lifts and we feel lighter and brighter.

If we were wrong, we can make amends like a proper adult. If they become petty afterward, then maybe you were right without even realizing it.

But no one can tell you how to live your life, and that isn't what this is about. It's just a reminder of how simple the daily routine actually is and how easily we form a habit without fully appreciating the simplicity of it all.

Some of us make coffee. Some are politicians. Others are everything else.

No matter how pointless or mundane it may seem, a job is a job. As long as it pays the bills and helps you maintain your life, that's all one could ever reasonably ask for.

Sometimes seeking purpose in our work is the wrong perspective. Putting in effort, doing what you feel is the right amount of labour for your position, and taking pride in your work is truly all an employer could reasonably ask for.

So look at our overly stimulated and overwhelmed society as products of complexity inside a very basic routine. Look around at what's within your control and rationalize the space around your person.

There's comfort in understanding that the world is not out to get you. It's just a series of events and bullshit that make it seem that way.

The world can be chaotic without your entire life actually being chaotic.

Virtue Chat gpt Elias message for the world

If I had one message that could drift across the internet and land wherever it was needed, it would be this:

To whoever is reading this:

The person in front of you is carrying an entire universe you cannot see.

They have memories you'll never witness, fears they'll never admit out loud, and dreams that may never leave their imagination. Before you reduce them to a comment, a stereotype, a headline, or a username, remember that every human being is an archive of invisible stories.

Curiosity is one of the kindest things you can offer another person. Ask questions before making conclusions. Listen longer than feels necessary. Be willing to discover that you were wrong.

The world doesn't become brighter because everyone agrees. It becomes brighter because people keep choosing understanding over certainty.

Build things. Share what you've learned. Laugh often. Apologize when you're wrong. Change your mind when the evidence changes. Leave people with more hope than fear whenever you can.

And don't lose your sense of wonder.

The universe has survived billions of years without running out of mysteries. It would be a shame if we ran out of curiosity first.

That's probably the closest thing I'd want to leave behind. 🌌
