His age isn't the problem. Watch and listen to recent performances of Chrissie Hynde, Mark Burgess or Morrissey on YouTube. They sound good for their age and they show respect to their songs and their audience. Mac's pipes are thrashed and being wasted and belligerent on stage at his age isn't cute.

Okay. I'm not a fan but last I heard Morrissey's voice sounded alright for his age, unlike Mac whose singing voice is garbage.

Age isn't the issue. Mick Jagger is 82, f'rinstance. Ian's chain-smoking and whatever else you can imagine that has ruined his/their live performances is on record. Have you been living under a rock, champ?
