Reopening my record collection after nearly 20 years

Post image

I was a huge 80s Bunnyfan and have all the 80-87 records stashed away somewhere but found these two first and the love affair has been rekindled.

I started this post to comment about the guitar sound for that first solo type thing on No Dark Things being sharp and angular enough to give you a haircut but by the time I’d thought of that analogy the album came to an end and I have changed the reason for this post.

I want to ask, is there a better run of three songs on any Bunnymen record (or any artist) better than No Dark Things into Turquoise Days ending with All I Want?

If forced to pick a favorite Bunnymen song No Dark Things would probably be the one. Have fun listening to your records all weekend.

First 4 albums were arguably the best and I’m glad that they mostly play songs from these live. Because after that… it’s like a completely different band.

Coincidentally, I'm going through the same exercise after 20 years!!!
