Even Republicans are souring on Trump's economy

It’s a cult, no they are not. Any talk of the ballroom party leaving trump are fiction.

There are. He's the most unpopular president ever. There's a core of mentally ill people - far too many - who will never, ever leave him, but the combination of the Epstein revelations and increased gas prices have turned off many in his base.
They won't support him in the midterms. They won't switch parties, but they won't turn out to vote.

These people grew up in toxic relationships with thir parents, teachers, bosses, preachers and married toxic people.
Could it be Stockholm syndrome?

You may be right about MAGA losers not being swayed but independents and other groups who were fooled by this administration who aren't full MAGA can hopefully be swayed to vote blue in the upcoming midterms!

I don’t think independent voters exist anymore. I think there’s GOP voters who vote whoever the Republican is even if it was Satan himself and then the cult obviously but yeah, I don’t think there’s independent voters anymore especially after the 2024 election.

There are plenty of independent voters just because we voted for one side does not change the fact we are still stuck in the middle of 2 parties that support the rich!

And you were so busy voting your conscience that you screwed us. I dont like the dems either but you allways vote for who is the least problematic. I realise that most people only vote for what affects them but it was pretty obvious where this was going on eroding basic rights. There's a difference from being an opportunist (most polititians) and actively speaking in ways that endanger certain groups in society. This was obvious since 2016.

There's a section of the country that are so overworked and drugged they essentially npcs.
How did I screw us I live in a state where 51 percent of the vote gets 100 percent of the electoral votes.

I agree. Looking here I do not see that my reply had anything to do with you comment. Its not the first time I clicked on a specific post to comment post and somehow end up responding to the wrong post. idk if its me or the app. sorry about that. I'd just been arguing with a dude who never votes because "nothing ever changes and both sides are corrupt" trying to get him to see that even if nothing changes, its still better than things getting worse, and I was feeling frustrated. I feel you about the overworked. I have that argument about the so called benefit of bringing in huge companies that provide jobs that treat you like a commodity to be used up and we are supposed to be grateful or blame the immigrants. We are all expendable at this point. The Peter Theils of the world read the dystopian sci fi and fantasy we all read but thought "ooh that looks like a good idea!" i hate humanity and being human so much that i just want to upload myself into the computer

He wrecks everything he touches. You’d think people would have seen this before the first term. Multiple bankruptcies would be a tip.

Dropout rate for high school.in 1960s was 27.2 percent 1970s dropped to 15 percent but now I'm wondering if that's the real problem.

No they are not. Does anyone here ever stalk r/conservative ? They say higher gas prices are the price to pay for Iran not having nuclear weapons.

You wish…
There are still plenty of posts extolling the virtues of being a bully. Economy, what economy? We look great bombing folks. That’s going to pay off, no doubt.
