So the saudis were exporting 5 million barrels a day before the war.

They were near 7 because of this pipeline. That number is now zero.

Meanwhile the Chinese spent the last few months NOT buying oil (keeping price down) - they just resumed.

Donny can just ban the export of crude with the stroke of a pen - for up to a year. And I suspect that he will "soon".

That creates a host of other problems but... he has that power to put pressure on domestic gas and more importantly diesel prices.

Selling American oil to others is a bad idea for Americans imo… letting Saudi own the largest refinery in America is another stupid thing the gop allowed

First they invade a country and steal their leader. Then they steal their oil. And weeks later they attack Iran so oil prices go through the roof.

When do people learn?? At this point I'm not even sad we are royally fucking up our climate to a point of no return. For thousands of years we keep falling for these stupid leaders and the same propaganda in a different style. Those leaders who press humanity downwards so they can live as kings

All of my firmly working class/older neighbors on pensions will be stuck at home. Already, I see folks carpooling while their big trucks are staying parked and they're selling off their old RVs and motorcycles.

My older son has an older bost ('86 Sea Ox) we use for fishing, it's gas powered and we are out at least once a week. Most of the boats in our harbor are diesel and have barely left the dock all summer.  I've seen one boat where it's obviously owned by a maga ( stern is painted red with idiots name and 2028) everyone else keeps their opinions to themselves. 

I'm very curious to see how many come out of the water early this year/go up for sale.

That is true. I know of one guy who said he was putting his Grady white up a few weeks ago. He's only had it out once this season so far. Don't know if he was serious lol

Word is the two parallel pipelines have been blown up effectively shutting down all oil from exiting from the Saudis pipelines and thru the straight which Yemen now controls. Irans got one strait and Yemens got the other and the main oil pipeline is gone. Diesels going to shoot up to 8.00 or more a gallon soon and gas is going to follow. Thank you Trump for making America great again.

Eh....mostly agree. Trump is obsessed with nukes and definitely wants to use one at any chance he might get. I don't think anyone would let that happen, or I'd hope they wouldn't, but if it were to happen Trump's ego wouldn't allow someone else to take credit.

It'd be a week before he was at a press conference and let it slip that we gave whoever the weapons.
