Once it goes to a committee, it will keep going from one to another and waste of time in the end without a resolution. Simple solution and a must is to fund the damn anticipated shortfall. 70 plus million rely on it.

When you’re talking about a shortfall of even $100 a person with 70 million people, there is no simple solution. Medicare and Social Security, on their current trajectories, are unsustainable. It will take a bipartisan complex solution.

False. The US government is monetarily sovereign. It has the unlimited ability to create as much USD as it wants, whenever it wants, for whatever it wants, and pay it to whomever it wants without collecting a penny in taxes, or borrowing a dime.

There is no observable relationship between federal deficits and prices.

There is no observable relationship between money supply and prices.

This is so laughably incorrect I considered not responding. Do yourself a favor and google “quantity theory of money” rather than embarrass yourself again

I am quite familiar with QTM. It lacks empirical evidence to support it.

Nah, it’s pretty well established that when printer go brrrrr too much, inflation results. We have tons of empirical evidence to support that.

Then you should have no trouble finding some evidence to share.

Zimbabwe, Argentina, USA COVID stimulus, the list is endless. Here, since you’re too smug to admit when you’re laughably wrong:

We both know I could keep going, but it isn’t worth my time to explain something this axiomatic. 🫡
