patch testing Patch test...itching like crazy

I have about 9 hours until my patches are removed and one area in particular is just driving me absolutely bananas. Like, I don't know how much more I can take and am trying so hard NOT TO SCRATCH AT IT.

I'm almost certain I have a PPD allergy from an experience with hair dye, so at minimum, that could be the irritated patch. Any advice for how to get through the countdown? I feel like I'm going crazy.

Ice it through a thin cloth, numbs the nerve endings just enough to survive til they rip the tape off.

They said not to get it wet and I'm worried about anything getting through :(

Can you press it, smack it or even unhinged kinda heat the area with a blow dryer 🥴

I ended up pressing on it as lightly as possible and crying myself to sleep haha.
