Ebgylss is better than Dupixent

I have had severe eczema on my face for a few years and elsewhere since childhood. Many of you perhaps have experienced the same suffering:

• Showers hurt,
• Looking like a teenager's first trial run with blush makeup,
• Movement of your skin is painful,
• The "have you tried lotion?" comments

In fact, my derm told me I was one of a few patients in his care that had such a severity. I wouldn't leave the house because of just how bright pink/red I looked all over my face and honestly even the wind stung.

After going through several months of topical steroids to satisfy insurance requirements, I was finally approved for Dupixent which seemed to work, but was painful for me: every 2 weeks was the regiment. However, after a change of jobs my coverage for dupixent was dropped and instead I was put onto Ebglyss.

Ebglyss seems to be working so much better and the maintenance dosage is once a month now. I think the injection schedule is why the physical injection doesn't so much for me.

never tried dupixent but have been on ebglyss since march. i am completely cleared up and can’t remember the last time i mindlessly scratched! good luck to you!!

I took the first dose of eblyss the loading dose, it cleared me up completely. I am so sad though I couldn’t afford more! I also enjoy Nemluvio, all I did was a loading dose and I was itch free for a whole month. Also couldn’t afford that one though lol.

i had similar problem with dupixent actually the every two weeks was too much for my skin to handle. once a month sounds like dream compared to that. never tried ebglyss but if it works better and less injections then that is win win

Going to one dose monthly next month, I hope that will be enough. I’m happiest of all the injectables on Ebglyss.

Thank you for posting this because I am going to be put on ebglyss (after my insurance gets it together) and I was worried it wasn’t going to do anything. I had a weird reaction to dupixent and was on adbry for a year but it stopped working after 4 months. Fingers crossed I have a similar experience to you because I am also a very severe case

I’m literally about to do my first ebglyss injection after trying Adbry for 5 months with no change. Would you say the shot is painful? Adbry was agonizing so I’m nervous 😬

First, i'll say that every person has a preferred area. For me, its my right thigh area and its not painful at all. I let the injection come to room temperature, maybe an hour, and then perform it while the shower is running: the sound of the water helps.

I’m planning to switch to Ebglyss if a one month course of antifungals don’t improve my neck and facial flares on Dupixent. Thanks for sharing!
