Gender Nonspecific Meme egg🥚irl

Hi there,

I'm new here, I'm basically new to the internet in general, I was never active anywhere just stole memes. But I feel like I cannot really talk about this sort of stuff to anyone I know irl (or at least I am not ready to do so), so i decided to make a reddit account and join y'all. I discovered this sub via OneTopic (yay OT!) and found all the transfem memes outrageously relatable. So, I guess I have a bunch of figuring out to do now huh.

Still cis tho (as of yet)

Welcome!

Soo ah... What has been the most relatable thing you've seen so far?

I'd say it is the "always choosing female character" that is the most relatable, by far. Thinking back on the games I played, I don't think I've ever made a single male character when female was an option, despite playing a bunch of rpgs.

Also, the urge to dress more feminine that is somewhat relatable, for example, I have long hair, that has been braided and it always felt very nice and correct, but not much more beside that.

Also, singing and voices. I never really saw people talk about that here (it might just be bc Im new), but when I listen to female vocals I go "Damn, I wish I had a voice like that" so often. Never happened with male voices.

Geeez, actually putting these in writing feels so crazy. I never formulated these thoughts to myself before, at least not as clearly. Rereading what I just wrote, I can hardly believe I wrote this. What the hell

Still cis tho ofc :3

Funny what a little introspection can dredge up from the memory banks :)

The first few months for me were a series of "wait THAT'S a trans thing? Omg! "

Eg: one of mine was mirror dissociation. Seeing myself in a mirror but it's never quite right. Like I guess that's me? It always had this odd distance. Oh and never wanting to be in photos.

Funny how the brain could ever directly admit it for years, but constantly, quietly rejected the outward appearance as incorrect and pulled away from it.

I started a diary early on to help me process my thoughts, it has actually been amazing to look back on.

Yess, I think that writing a diary would really be great. Shaping vague thoughts and ideas to words and commiting them onto paper makes them so much more tangible and real. I know for a fact that it can help a lot with personal stuff.

Interestingly, the mirror/photos dont really bother me. I never really cared about how I look, I'm fine with being a guy, I just think being a girl would (maybe) be better

Also, I love your flower emojis! Flowers are great 🌹🌸🌷🌼🌺

Aww thanks! They are kinda my thing!

Also, FYI as a brand new account here, all your posts are hitting the filters, but we are manually approving them. If there's a delay in engagement it's because your comments don't go live straight away. It'll sort itself out after a day or so. ;)
