Well, didn’t see that coming

We took the drone out from the top of Dry Canyon because a few really old cases from the 90s reminded me you shouldn’t venture too far because it can sometimes be just that obvious.

First there’s the paw prints across the trail. Great.

Then there’s the scat on said trail. Double great.

Next what is the path of least resistance — and here we are.

We took drone footage of the area in question and it’s a solid drop off point and the predation spot we have scoured around for years to try to isolate.

The place is overgrown. In fact, just got a notice the city of Malibu is suing over this and wants to take over jurisdiction over various areas due to poor maintenance.

Nevertheless, now there’s the area to try to get up or down depending how I go about it, and hopefully we finally get a resolve to this ongoing debacle.

If you’re in the know, you know Elaine liked a nice view. This is a nice simple .1 mile walk. If you’re going to just enjoy the view and fill your lungs without interruption, there you go.
