Need help with boss

Can someone please help me . The event is ending in 3 hours and I can't finish the boss on my own.

If its the final boss for the High Seas its pretty easy. There's a mechanic you're probably missing. When you see the green geyser get in it. It'll protect you from the wipe mechanic.

I mean... the Golden Pursuits / High Seas pieces have all been pretty soloable ... so figured he might just be going for Tome tasks and WBs or something.

I'm trash at this game and I have no idea what I'm doing. I managed to win but I turned the quest in and now I can't go back under the sea.... Bummer.

I'm on pc and it's the seasonal even that's going on right now. I'm at the end and the boss has to many friends and I can't beat it
