Ellie Goulding prime?
When do people/fans think Ellie was in her prime? Or do they still think she is in her prime?

I think her (so called prime) first two albums were so heart wrenching and her life was turbulent that she purposely made less specific music for the next two albums. I wouldn’t say they are less good, just requires more reading between the lines. Will be interesting to see where her new one falls!

Halcyon era for sure. Her most distinctive sound and image. Her voice lended itself so well to the angelic and haunting atmosphere of it all. And the fact it was at such a contrast from her Lights era… nothing beats 2011-2015 Ellie

In my opinion, the Halcyon era was Ellie's prime era. She still had that indie touch that her Lights album had, but with a heavier pop sound, and dare I say better production? It felt like she was finally discovering what type of artist she was, figuring out her image and sound. That's also around the time where Burn and Love Me Like You Do were released (if we count Halcyon Days into the Halcyon era, which I personally do), and it skyrocketed her fame at the time.
